Must it be manga? I ask because as a kid I loved the Battletech universe novels, especially the ones by Michael "X-Wing series" Stackpole.

The Robotech novels written by two authors using the psuedonym Jack Mckinney were also a fun read back then, got me into the RIFTS megaverse rpg system for the Robotech game and also introduced me to one of the only manga series I ever enjoyed.

Even though Robotech was a bastardisation of many (cheap to buy and do what you want with) series on its release?

I've watched several anime,so I'm interested in manga. Right now I'm trying to find Getter Robo.

Never diss Ghost in the Shell when I'm around yer chimp!
Does Appleseed count as a good Masamune Shirow work? And Patlabor is a childhood favourite. Noa Izumi is so cute.

At least it is better than the crap that is coming out. I don't mind moe or harem shows but it's oversaturating.at least GITS has a story and even the fan service has a purpose and we can understand Motoko's character and what she's going through(on the movie at least,the TV series follows the manga more closely on her design and personality). Not boobs for the sake of boobs.(

Braussie: So, I was just given a quadcore, 2gb android tablet with keyboard... Anyone have a recommendation for games? Or a free dosbox emu to run gog games?

Well, I just found out it's a today 1gb, not 2 (it's a transformerbook t700t). The 1920 x 1080 resolution is pretty nice for a 10" tablet.

I like a wide variety, though I tend to be more towards casual games lately. I loved the Shadowrun games, enjoy platformers, tower defense, and adventure games. I just generally stay away from massive RPGs, cause I don't have the time to make it worth it. I have Broken Sword 1 and Ravensword already for the tablet, from a humble bundle a while ago, as well as Avadon: black fortress, and a couple others.

I'm wanting to see if I can get the king's quest, Quest for Glory, and perhaps some others working on it, as I doubt those would be much for it, even on an emulator. Do you have any specific recommendations?

Well, if you liked BS1, I'm quite sure you will like BS5.
The PC version atleast plays like an old-school point-and-click adventure and the story is in the same vein as BS1.

Since your from the UK I like to ask a question?

Is there a World War II film that follows the UK's perspective. Because the UK imo are so underrepresented during the War in media. The only media that I know so far that shows the UK's participation of the war was Call of Duty 1,2,and 3.

Is there a World War II film that follows the UK's perspective. Because the UK imo are so underrepresented during the War in media. The only media that I know so far that shows the UK's participation of the war was Call of Duty 1,2,and 3.
There are 1000s - ranging from those made during the war years and after that serve as propaganda more than anything (much as many of their hollywood contemporaries did), and there are all sorts of films dealing with differing spects of the war from different peoples perspectives.

I'll have a think on it today and see if I can come up with some worth watching actually, as its been a while since I've watched a WW2 flick anyways.

Do you you know any that has that R rated edgyness? One that shows brutality and blood? Because I cannot take some war battles seriously when its there is no blood or anything.
