Malvictis: First, it's not up to you to tell people how to play their games or what they need for their enjoyment. Seriously, GTFO with that crap.

Second, what is it with you anti-achievements people that you don't seem to grasp the treat GOG customers the same as Steam users by selling the exact same product argument?
Two of you have mentioned that. I'm not the one telling people how to play games. It's achievement systems that are! And you can't just "opt out of them" because, even if you don't have it tracking the achievements, it's still telling you, "Oh, you've done 0% of this game" and whatnot. Thus why I say it's better that achievements aren't in games to poison the gameplay.

As for "what's with us": I'm getting a better product by there not being platform-supported achievements. In product achievements, sure. They're easier to ignore. Just like I'm getting a better product by there not being DRM in the product. Lack of things can be a feature.

Grargar: Last I checked, November didn't have 31 days.
Plus, if you feel really nitpicky, it would be the 31st, not the 31th.

Pygmalion_4678: Personally, I don't care and I also think that we have more than enough indie stuff here, but I would also be interested to know why this title should be less interesting than the stuff GOG published today. Is it a gamble?
I don't mind getting more indie games here when they are actually well done and fun which is both the case with Lost in Vivo. We can only speculate about why this game is not available here but I can say for sure that it's not a gamble. It's actually too cheap for the content it has to offer imo.

Konradical: Happy Halloween! Good savings to y'all, shameless self-promo time for me.

First off, this is the h i s t o r i c l o w on Liberated, first on GOG at -50% and it's kinda perfect because what's more scary than looking out the window at the general mess.

Then Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Heart of the Forest is back for seconds at -10%. It's a non-negotiable part for every Halloween Sale from now on until forever. You've been warned.

And I loove a good stretch, so Wanderlust: Travel Stories, and the OST, and the Transsiberian short story are all -66% for halloween. First, they're by our Heart of the Forest devs. More importantly – is there anything more terrifying and uncomfortable than BEING AWAY FROM HOME FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME? Not for this guy.

Shoot if you've got questions, I'll be checking the notification ping just in case. :3 Love you all. Stay cool!
Hi, any news about the implementation of the Galaxy achievements of Wanderlust? It's the only Walkabout game without achievement on GOG, so it would be nice to have the complete collection in all its parts, thanks!

I related gambling to GOG's selection process, not to the game itself ;)

Furthermore, I consider that Batman Arkham Series must be released on GOG.

-75% on Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice must be an all-time low.
Boo, Happy Halloween to all! Hope we'll see some frighteningly nice releases before the sale ends.
Happy Halloween!

And the sale has at least one good offer, the first Mafia game 80% off. Bought, even with the butchered music. It's the highest discount on GOG, as far as I remember.

-Nachtmahr-: Hey, funny question, but will this sale include rotating sales, so that a game that isn't on sale might be later?
Hi, serious approach : yes ^ (might be later, it happened before, especially this sale)

As someone who loved Wing Commander Privateer and The Darkening, I got Archimedean Dynasty.
I wasn't aware of the existence of the game and its similarities until recently, with the new Aquanox release (didn't hear much of the licence too either).
I like the idea of roaming in the Deep Sea instead of the Deep Space, which can add a certain level of frightening feeling (or at least a disturbing one), while I absolutely hate the visions and ideas from Lovecraft (which seem to be a standard when we speak about fear nowadays...).

In the mean time, Submarine Titans is also on sale, a good choice to add in that mood (but since I played a lot Starcraft, and was intrigued by that game, which I didn't know of − again ! − so, I already bought it months ago)

ConsulCaesar: -75% on Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice must be an all-time low.
It is. The 50% off for Ara Fell: Enhanced Edition is also a historical low.

Also, while I'm here, the banner:
- 2560x360
- 1680x360
- 1366x360
- 1024x360
- 767x287
- 480x287

AB2012: I already own it but no Costume Quest? I mean, the entire game is all about Halloween / trick or treating... (Other potentially overlooked "spooky themed" suggestions : The 7th Guest and The Adventures of Shuggy).

Also for the Creepy Tale game you've got incorrect TEST DEVELOPER and TEST PUBLISHER tags listed as the developer / publisher (shouldn't that be "Deqaf Studio")?
It would have been a good time to bring costume quest 2 here now that it is free on epic store.

Berzerk2002: Count me in on this one. I'll never understand why this game is not already available here. It's so well done.

Dying Light is still on the German index. Use a VPN if you want to get it.

Pygmalion_4678: The game is indexed in Germany and GOG cannot change anything about it.
avatar
KillerBee69: Actually it isnt anymore as far as i know.

Steam doesn't sell Dying Light in Germany. It is still forbidden to advertise Dying Light publicly. But it no longer applies as a criminal offense. Your source says nothing else. Do you confuse Dying Light with Dead Island from the same developer?

Looks like really nice sale (Mafia! -80%, Settlers!), but I hate when they split the list of discounted games into several sub-lists. My script is fooled and interpret it as a different sales. I've made some additional effort to deliver:

One list to rule them all,
one list to find them,
One list to bring them all
and in these posts bind them.
(i.e. 600+ discounted games sorted by price)
