Halloween comes early this year! On GOG.COM, it rains from the sky accompanied by a lot of tricks and treats, handed to you on purple tentacles that defy the laws of physics. So, get ready to descend into the dimension of discounts, with over 850 game deals, accompanied by new game releases and staff recommendations!

First, let’s take a look at terrifying releases you can now get on GOG.COM:

· Creepy Tale (-15%) is an Indie adventure title soaked with the dark atmosphere of twisted fairy tales like Brothers Grimm.

· Infliction: Extended Cut (-40%) will take you on a journey into a fractured home full of creepy secrets to discover. The discount on this game will last until 9th November 2020, 2 Pm UTC.

· Maid of Sker (-20%) will send chills down your spine as it leads you to a remote hotel with a gory and macabre history inspired by British folklore.

· Othercide (-30%) will give you the opportunity to lead your army to battle with all the skill you can muster.

· Song of Horror Complete Edition (-40%) will make you run and hide from a mysterious, deadly entity that adapts to your every action and decision.

After the maddening tension caused by the new releases begins to fade away, it’s time to take a look at cosmic deals during our Halloween Sale! For starters, you should take a look at the otherworldly, award-winning RPG – The Outer Worlds (-50%). Next, check out thrilling games like Control Ultimate Edition (-30%) and Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition (-70%), as they set you up on a fight against forces beyond comprehension. If you have a huge thirst for chills, titles like Darkwood game (-66%), Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night (-40%), and classic Phantasmagoria (-35%) will fulfill your darkest desires.

If you wish to save the world from hell or alien swarms, try FPS titles such as Painkiller Black Edition (-80%) and Serious Sam 4 (-15%). Want more action? Games like the award-winning Blasphemous game (-50%) and Warhammer: Chaosbane (-65%) can help you defeat the minions of darkness with a bang. The same task becomes much more elaborate in adventure games such as The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters (-40%) or Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York (-50%). Last but not least, unique titles like A Plague Tale: Innocence (-66%), horror game CARRION (-25%), and Metro Exodus - Gold Edition (-66%) will remind you why you should be afraid of the dark.

We know that venturing into the dark abyss of discounts is no small feat. That’s why we’ve prepared GOG.COM's staff recommendations for you, to serve as a guiding light through the indescribable and decadent corridors of our Halloween Sale:

A great selection of games are on sale, but I find it strange that some horror games aren't, given it's the Halloween sale going:

- Blood: Fresh Suply
- Little Nightmares
- Silent Hill 4: The Room

Hopefully they're added to the sale during the week.
I am wondering who decides what goes on sale and what not.

I've been waiting for Gordian Quest and it is still on sale on a steamy platform, but not on Gog? Disappointing.

Btw: Othercide is a great game. Very hard but also underrated.

Happy Halloween! Good savings to y'all, shameless self-promo time for me.

First off, this is the h i s t o r i c l o w on Liberated, first on GOG at -50% and it's kinda perfect because what's more scary than looking out the window at the general mess.

Then Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Heart of the Forest is back for seconds at -10%. It's a non-negotiable part for every Halloween Sale from now on until forever. You've been warned.

And I loove a good stretch, so Wanderlust: Travel Stories, and the OST, and the Transsiberian short story are all -66% for halloween. First, they're by our Heart of the Forest devs. More importantly – is there anything more terrifying and uncomfortable than BEING AWAY FROM HOME FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME? Not for this guy.

Shoot if you've got questions, I'll be checking the notification ping just in case. :3 Love you all. Stay cool!

So the person who stated that 2 weeks after an Interplay sale there is usually a larger follow-up sale was correct. Good prediction!

AB2012: I already own it but no Costume Quest? I mean, the entire game is all about Halloween / trick or treating...
Also, is there any known reason about Costume Quest 2 not being available on GOG?

I strongly recommend Carrion and A Plague Tale Innocence (which I'd love to get here but no GOG Connect seems to be available so I'll stick to Steam)! Also, Brothers, get it if you don't already! And Darw, let's not forget that one!

Also that Chtulu banner looks great!

Would have loved to buy Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition for -70% but its somehow still not sold in Germany via GOG =(
Quickie, for those games:

Death and Taxes
Gibbous
Scourge Bringer
Felix the reaper

Is there no missing key rebinds for the keyboard? Just checking, as that critical information is missing from the store description. Cheers!

KillerBee69: Would have loved to buy Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition for -70% but its somehow still not sold in Germany via GOG =(
The game is indexed in Germany and GOG cannot change anything about it.

Furthermore, I consider that Batman Arkham Series must be released on GOG.

fronzelneekburm: Would've loved to have seen Lost in Vivo here, an actually scary game that the dev already sent in for approval.
Count me in on this one. I'll never understand why this game is not already available here. It's so well done.

Dying Light is still on the German index. Use a VPN if you want to get it.

Personally, I don't care and I also think that we have more than enough indie stuff here, but I would also be interested to know why this title should be less interesting than the stuff GOG published today. Is it a gamble?

⬗ Hi! Great News! I like your avatar. I read "And I love a good scratch" Finally more paws! : ) <3
Thanks for coming here, Gog with you ^ with God`s help :D but the Devil is watching (but he wants to be saved, and We (our behaviour) will decide about it, crazy!) I think Devil is doomed that way, unless...
Can the Devil Be Saved? by Leszek Kolakowski(free)

I will try to save Heart of the Forrest first ^ Played demo, absorbing, strange, inspiring and self-testing.

Hey, funny question, but will this sale include rotating sales, so that a game that isn't on sale might be later?

mqstout: I've said it before and I'll say it again: Lack of achievements to taint your gameplay and mindset is a feature, a benefit of its own. It's good not to have achievements break immersion, andor spoil you andor frustrate you andor dictate the way in which you play the game, or make you feel less accomplished.
First, it's not up to you to tell people how to play their games or what they need for their enjoyment. Seriously, GTFO with that crap.

Second, what is it with you anti-achievements people that you don't seem to grasp the treat GOG customers the same as Steam users by selling the exact same product argument?
