MaxFulvus: But currently, I can't understand why people love so much the Sharknado franchise... it's so boring and a free speech in favor of sharks slaughtering !
It's the absurd and over the top premise of having hundreds of sharks rain down on an entire city. Something similar, albeit more low-profile, happened with the earlier Asylum film Mega-Shark vs. Giant Octopus in 2007. It gained some notoriety on the internet for the outlandish concept, as well as a scene in which the shark bites an airplane in half.

While I'm actually a big fan of The Asylum's films, I, too, am not particularly fond of Sharknado. I generally prefer it when they play these non-sensical ideas completely straightfaced, rather than the overly self-aware hipster mentality of the Sharknado films, where every other line is basically just them winking at the camera.

Screamers
Conan The Destroyer
Cool World

I love its animation and music
Ratman.

It's pure trash but I love it.

Though it may have been mentioned somewhere in the last 6 or 7 pages (I didn't read the whole thread), I think Brain Dead (or Dead Alive in the US) certainly deserves a mention here.

While it might not actually properly be categorized as a "Bad Film" (personally I think it's a work of genius), it is probably categorized as such by most movie snobs. That said, for anyone who hasn't watched it, do so at your earliest convenience. You will be entertained. It is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen, and it is actually intentionally funny. Combined with Bad Taste, it does make you wonder which movie exec at New Line Cinema looked at Peter Jackson's past productions and decided to throw untold millions of dollars at him in order to make Lord of the Rings. I'm glad he did, but I've never understood the decision.

Not quite. It's more a story about class warfare. To quote from imdb:

Brutals are told that when they die they will go to the vortex, where the Eternals live immortally. Zed, an Exterminator-class brutal who worships the stone head Zardoz, comes upon an old library where a mysterious stranger teaches him how to read. When he finds a copy of a well known book, he sets out to learn the secret of the god he worships, and disrupts life in the vortex.

The trailer is in the previous post. Not that it is at all comprehensible.

They can make a giant stone head fly yet they are confined to using rickshaws to get around. P

BTW, glad this thread is back.
I fancy the movie Hook and apparently it has super bad reviews and even Spielberg hates it but I love it.

I like Hook a lot. It's far from perfect, but I enjoyed it a lot and still think it's a good movie. Williams as grown up Peter Pan is perfect, and so is Hoffman as Hook.
