Elmofongo: Is Hitman even a proper representaion of the games? As in faithfulness? Like some elements of the movie is in the game like the disguises?
About as proper as the others I mentioned. It's some familiar elements rearranged into a whole different picture by someone who just didn't get it, or thought the general audience would not. I'd say the "proper" Hitman movie is somewhere between that one and "Day of the Jackal". Sadly it looks like the new one might be even further off the mark.
Has anyone else seen the Australian movie "Undead"? It's a bad movie but so much fun to watch.

Exactly. Even forgetting how they steal one of the most famous quotes from Watchmen, it already looks like they didn't get what the games were. It was all about stealth. The big action scene in the middle of the streets in broad daylight? Yeah, that's exactly what should NOT be in a Hitman movie. And it just keeps going in the same vein. If it wasn't for how the assasin guy looks it might as well be the trailer for the new Mission Impossible. Honestly, if that WAS the new Mission Impossible, with Quinto replacing Cruise I might actually get behind that. But as a Hitman movie? Looks like a critical miss, -1 on d100.

Granted, that is just going by the trailer. The actuall movie may surprise me, but movies that turn out better than their trailers are very, very rare. Usually it's the opposite.

Exactly what I was going to say. The trailer may showcase the only two or three high profile bang wham effects. Trailers sometimes do that. I have no positive or negative expectations.

Except that, to be honest, I don't really care for these adaptations in general. I inflicted myself the max payne thing, haven't watched the other hitman, don't intend to watch this one either. These films being good would make me happy for those who watch them, that's all. It's like I'm crossing my fingers for other people.

alexw11: Birdemic: Shock and Terror

It must be seen to be believed.
Haha I was thinking of mentioning that here. It makes me *want* to see it because of how bad it looks. :-)

chadjenofsky: Anyone ever see "Dollman"?

tinyE: Which one? :P

And yes I have.
omg... the quote is from the first (without any demonic toys)
Zombie Flesh Eaters!
By the way maybe I should disclose that love [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8xD_-Kfg7g]Deep Rising[/url].

Love it to the very last scene.

Ha, I have a soft spot for that film!
Pumaman!
Hmmm, bad yet arguably enjoyable movies? I've seen Deathstalker mentioned, but no Conan the Destroyer or Red Sonja?

Those were both bad movies, but I confess I did like them :-)

EDIT: Oh, and another bad film that I quite like: Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone

Should we be mentioning movies featured on MST3K? :P For starters it seems kind of obvious and on top of that, they've gotten a enough grief; they don't need anymore from us. XD

Then again I don't think of PumaMan as bad but rather ahead of it's time. It took a visionary to bring us a super hero that wears slacks.

Space Mutiny and Invasion of the Neptune Men?

l0rdtr3k: Space Mutiny
That's not even close to being the worst movie Reb Brown ever did. :P
And BTW, his love interest in that movie that the bots keep mentioning must be his mother? That's his wife IRL.
