Haven't been following this thread or the arguing, but I do want to point out that this is in line with Nintendo's rationale for taking down fan games. That kind of reasoning cuts both ways.

More proof you are just being a thief and don't really care one wit about the games you are downloading for free. If you'd have actually cared about the game, you'd know this.

How many times does it have to be explained to thieving assholes like you that many of the games on abandonware sites are NOT abandoned...but you don't care, you can't be bothered...but that attitude does make you a thief like I've been saying.

It really is amazing, how he seems to entirely unaware of what he is doing. It's fascinating how distorted a persons view of reality can get. I think he would get along splendidly with the "I can't finish any games!" guy :D

The fact there are so many of you defending LootHunter, the jerk proclaiming how he's glad he pirated Brood War; how he has a right to pirate any game he wants because he bought a couple and thinks they sucked; including one he played over 100 hours but should have got his money back because it had a bad ending...

The fact you are defending Pookamustard who claims that downloading any game from abandonware site is completely okay because the site says so and since they are old games they should be free to download anyway...besides, he's so busy with college how can you expect him to spend the extra time to do a Google search to see if a game is really for sale...

All this on a forum dedicated to bringing old games back to life and LEGALLY available for sale...

Sure looks like there are a lot of pirates around. I hope developers are reading this right now when they decide whether to bring their next game DRM-free or not.

Clearly DRM-free seems to attract a lot of pirates and pirate-lovers...

If I've done so I'd actually a link to where I've done so. Considering I'm unaware of actually having done so.

Nope, most pirates like TPB and P2P services, and most of them play only new drmed games that has been cracked, even the mighty denuvo drm has been cracked.
