You should add that users need to own the game to be able to activate the comics key to avoid request from peoples who didn't know that

Thank you very much for the opportunity for the comic! Unfortunately, I messed up and cannot activate the comic because it is DLC, and I have the base game on a different platform, not on GOG. Ah well.

Can be returned to the pool; I googled before asking & an old reddit post said I'd be able to claim it without owning the game but gog's redeem page says no.

I only own the game on Steam.


---Edit---

Ah it was my not opening the full post that made the error :-D It starts off 'Claimable without owning game' which you see on google but opening it it ended with 'can't activate until you have the game'. Oy.
