Dischord: Good afternoon, is morning here, but it is strange as it has happened before too.

I just got home a little while ago, and left pc on and was still logged on as I was downloading when I left last night.

Oh well, all is well that ends well, and nice to see you!

ZPavelZ: Good afternoon to you as well. :) We are around 4 pm right now. Good to know everything worked out in the end. I have not experienced any PM losses here, by the way. But than I am also much closer to GOG data-center... I think.

I noticed it seems happen when I have more than one Gog window open, but not always.

My usual procedure is to PM the code first, then post to check pm in another window. I guess I'll double check it from now on, and make sure the pm went by refreshing the area in 'my messages' prior to letting someone know via the thread.

If it would have been a couple of hours later, I would thought that's what I get for drinking, but that wasn't the case yesterday, at least that early! :-)

Ah ok that DID happen to me. Sometimes I noticed when my pc is overloaded the PM window just seem to start loading and never finish. That could be your case also. Like you send the PM and it "starts" sending but never "finishes".

The other poor guy waited a week to get his game, when it happened, as I don't come on that much and had no idea it didn't get there.

If I can just use a mouse, I am happy.

That allows me the freedom to use my other hand for my beverage of choice, a sandwich, the phone, a smoke, or whatever else comes up. The only time I use 'controllers' of any kind, is on a console, and I haven't played on them for years.

Will quickly abandon the pc, or whatever other trivialities are in the way, to direct my attention there, when that comes up. :-) That does require 2 hands, and is worth the additional attention.

In a study published in the Arachnid Daily News, Mr. Black Widow has found that celibacy is key to a long and happy life.

Now to the point:

Awhile ago I gifted a copy of Wing Commander 3, Heart of the Tiger to a new user from the UK, and it has not been redeemed. Apparently the account has not been checked, so I will post the code here for anyone to claim, and will replace if/when the user comes back.

No contest, I ask nothing, but it would be nice if someone who actually wanted the game got it!
