GOG's Affiliate program is being replaced with a performance-based Partnership Program:
"So the thing is that our affiliate program had been changed recently. We've significantly revamped it into a Partnership Program, it's now more Business-oriented with strict performance requirements which make it more suitable for bigger partners. The old affiliation model had not been profitable for most of affiliates anyway and resulted in a lot of paperwork for everyone, so we're now offering Content Creator partnerships instead! This gives you access to GOG content and cooperation opportunities, and we can focus entirely on doing cool stuff together. Thanks to Content Creator partnership you're able to get free games on any games you want from GOG, review keys, early-access to some games but what's the most important - free keys for a giveaway to your community during biggest events (like Summer/Winter Sale). And there is no paperwork!"

Noticed this curiosity only just now.

The GOG store catalogue now holds 48 games per page, not 50 as before. Checked past MaGog logs and the change (bug? feature?) happened on 3 December 2018.

To make it no longer look odd with the 3 or 4 / row I guess. Would have gone for 60 instead, round number. But then again I'd have gone with something working in any browser, and showing game title even in tiled view (which was the only one available until recently), and no autoplaying anything, and...

New change: something called GOG Direct to Account:
https://www.gog.com/newsletter/20190226_Updates_Legal_en
https://support.gog.com/hc/en-us/articles/212632089-User-Agreement

Direct to Account Distribution

6.8 We have a direct to account distribution feature (we’ll call it ‘GOG Direct to Account) where distribution platforms who partner with us would be able to sell games or other content to you, where you could choose for that game/content to be automatically activated within your GOG account, without the need to redeem any codes. Just to be clear, the whole purchase process is handled by the other platform, so in case of any issues with the purchase process please speak with them directly. We say a little bit more about this in the Refunds and Returns section below. Of course, anything connected to our platform’s services is still our responsibility.

And of course, conclusion of the fair price program.

GOG has started to track users with piwik.pro a few weeks ago, but I do not see it mentioned here yet.
Game's store page now have links to their specific forum.

This has been the case for at least two months (when I first noticed it). Really useful, to be honest.

That means this community wishlist entry was months due of being completed.

I've checked this thread and didn't find an entry.
Usually something like this would surely find its way here, since it's been long requested.

I've only first noticed it with the Silver Chains' page.

I didn't even know about that... perhaps the blues monitoring these threads didn't know about it either.

There seem to have been some low-key improvements to the website in recent months. Paragraphs were re-introduced to reviews without any fanfare a week ago (or a couple weeks ago?), which was one of the biggest requests after the 10th anniversary revamp of the website. The new front page design introduced during the Summer Sale seems to be sticking too.
GOG removed the stupid curated collections from homepage, after the summer sale.
It is Featured now, looks much much much much much better.

As well as step backwards...
The redeem page used to be informative regarding the state of a GOG game code.
It tells you whether the code is:
• Already used
• Expired
• Invalid or mistyped

Then the issue about the false promotion arises.
After that, the redeem code error handling changed to this single generic message:
Oops, something went wrong. Please refresh this page and try again. If you're here about code MMLXXVII, please be aware that it is invalid and not part of an official promotion.
Which remained like that ever since.
So unless the code you entered was: 'Available & Valid & Exact' that's the only error prompt you'll receive.

Edit: The false promotion portion was now omitted in the error prompt; still the same generic message though:
Oops, something went wrong. Please refresh this page and try again.

Interesting.

I think you should start a separate thread about this.
That's a nice addition! I must not lose this thread.
