SCPM: The page footer now has (...) quick language and currency selection.
Yay!!!

SCPM: The page footer now has a GOG Galaxy download button and a purple ribbon like the one in the header
Booooooooooo!!!!
Yep, new footer. Link to Connect and big Galaxy (of course...) button added, language and currency selections as an inline list instead of a pulldown menu, Facebook, Twitter and Twitch links changed to little icons, all other links removed.

Comparison between old and new attached.

We may want to wait a bit for more confirmation, as it could be just a glitch, but looks like GOG has changed the way it handles regional locking?

See here and subsequent posts.
Here's something new:
https://fckdrm.com/
"FCK DRM is an initiative by GOG.COM to promote DRM-free art and media. If you're the owner of a 100% DRM-free source and would like to be featured here, please reach out to iwantto@fckdrm.com."
That email address though, o_0
Edit: I swear I refreshed the main page and the General discussion forum before posting this and the official post wasn't mentioned. :)

*scratches his head* Meh. Not a particularly classy name.

Edit: wait, there's even an official thread...

eiii: The vote counter on the game cards has been removed.

@GOG: Why did you remove these counters?

It's quite a difference for the relevance of the rating if a game has 10 or 1000 votes. Please revert this change!

Johny.: From what I know it was intentional, but temporary - our top men will bring it back. :)
I hope the counters are removed "temporary" only once again and your top men will bring them back soon. ;)

Wondering what the entry for what happened now will be worded like...

Oh, that I don't know. I'll put that as feedback for web teams. :)
The new GOG have arrows for changing game banners on the homepage.
It is now < - - - - - - - > on the banner.
It was - - - - - - (no arrows) before.
I don't know if it's new, or I'm just late to the party, but it seems GOG has started to handle various edition on the same "game card" (or whatever it is called) in the store. Above the "Add to cart" button there's a drop-down menu where you can select edition. Also, above the system requirements you can see a list specifying what each edition contains. Me gusta!

Then they seem to have added a popular achievements section too, listing the most common achievements people have gotten. I really don't see the point of this, as they're usually of the "Have started playing the game" kind, but what the heck!

And, this morning, I was informed that after January 2, 2019, the Codex’s involvement with the affiliate program will end, apparently because GOG are moving in a different direction with the program."

Yeah, I had noticed when I could no longer hit on LGR's or Pixelmusement's links, which hopefully there will be a nice change incoming.
