See that Nu Pogodi seems to stand out as the winner so far, but I think I only recall it when I was very little, before the Revolution, caught from Bulgarian TV and obviously without understanding anything. I'm sure it was on Romanian TV in the '90s as well, but don't clearly recall it as such.
About those I recall from that period here... Well, all but a couple in this collection for one, and a few more besides, but first coming to mind directly, without being reminded of them in such a manner, were Spaceship Sagittarius (Wikipedia, IMDB, intro), The Wonderful Adventures of Nils (Wikipedia, IMDB, intro), Hello! Sandybell (Wikipedia, IMDB, intro) and, of course, Captain Planet and the Planeteers (Wikipedia, IMDB, intro), and really wouldn't call the 2nd and 3rd as favorites, so going with first and last, both of which likely had some effect on me and how I turned out eventually... (Picked whatever language intros I could find for the first two.)
But everyone seems to focus on cartoons, and I'd also go to a show that was here, Abracadabra.

And... Yeah. Didn't enter the previous one, but will enter this one, even if it feels ever more embarrassing, considering all I received from you over the past couple of years...

Wow, this one is interesting. At first I thought it's a kind of plagiarism. Now I can see that The Lion King wasn't the first from these two... I've never known the controversies, but it looks that in today's world Disney would have serious problems releasing The Lion King...

Just remembered another show I enjoyed soooo much. It's called A Thousand and One Americas and it's a Spanish production. My elementary teacher was amazed by my history and culture knowledge and I owed most of it to this cartoon series. Here's how the Serbian dubbing sounded like.

As for childrens programme, hmm…
The usual cartoons aside, my pick would be "Blue's Clues".
To this day, I'm still envious on how Steve (the show's host) effortlessly draws just about anything.

Yes, the opening song was so nice !  Several years ago, I bought the DVD box set of the original series, then a few years ago, the video game based on the second season.

The Kitten Kong episode was iconic. For those that care to look, there are clips and possibly the entire episode on DailyMotion. I'm not linking due to the legality issues and some decidedly mature suggested videos.

Although it had the reputation of a children's program, it addressed the issues of the day and attracted some controversy in doing so. Several of the episodes would now be termed inappropriate for children in today's society.

Sadly, one of them was struck down by COVID earlier this year.

So many of them have already been posted ^^ I'd have to go with one the most classic of them all, the Muppet Show.

So many memories, from those most know to those more country-specific (which I'd watch sometimes through friend's recordings). Nowadays many are getting remakes (from Ducktales to Danger Mouse), but the originals are still the best and most nostalgic.
