Is it general, is it retro, console specific, historic overview, sales, technology? It is a broad subject, after all, with (depending how you count) at least half a century of games to recount.

I think the hidden "5 positive rep" requirement is still in place for posting links, even though rep was hidden. So first time posters indeed can't do links. Not sure if this is your first post, but if yes, just make 5 posts on 5 different days and you should be OK.

At worst, just put a space somewhere in the link to bypass the autodetect.
