WBGhiro: Okay. but... why?
rcartledge1989: It just strikes me as very petulant and unprofessional. The sheer amount of smug, passive-aggressive condescension from this single instance is almost enough to ruin whatever good will I may have initially had for this product before I actually bought it. And not only that, the line is also extremely jarring, out-of-place for the established setting (subtle and appropriate pop-culture references and quotations are one thing, but this kind of memery?) and will almost surely date the product within a few short years.
Like I said, I already bought it and have no intention of pressuring the publishers to change what I don't like about it. Had I knew of this in advance, I probably wouldn't have made the purchase in the first place
Now that you point out it is like a meme. I wonder, what do SJWs, PC bullies, and like minded individuals have with memes? I mean, many of their products and localizations are full of memes, often poorly used.
