There will be no outrage because they care more about zeroes and ones than actual women. Specially if it is politically incorrect to denounce the abuse.

But that's a sign of the larger problem. That ended up in court. Let's admit it, the general public doesn't concern itself too much with often incestuous silliness going on in universities. But once these movements bleed out into the board room, the living room, or the court room, there can be a titanic shift in viewpoints and there's definitely consequences.

The real danger is that these social justice kids believe this hype so strongly that they really are going out into the real world and attempting in vain to bend the entire planet around to their cult-like mentalities of tolerance and political correctness. Thankfully though the rubber band effect is still in force, and the law of nature itself reacts quite rigorously when humans attempt to defy physics and common sense.

But keep it up, crusaders. At the very least you're offering cheap entertainment to the paying VIPs in the sky box who want to use your forces to take a wrecking ball to human liberty.

I wonder how so many people (including Jim Sterling) are able to ignore the fact, that Koei is even refusing to make a cheap digital only release for the third iteration in the country where the second one got sold the most. Of course it's completely about gender politics and neo-puritan prudence in America, you can't deny that without looking like a total moron if you consider the facts. Part two sold more than twice as many copies in America than it did in Japan.
There isn't even any sex in this game and it doesn't even deserve an adult rating (although Sargon seems to have a different opinion on this than I do).
It's just a game for teenagers (not only boys, also bisexual girls) and probably everyone with the fitting sense of humour - really nothing special.

The representative of one of the most misogynistic nations on this planet becomes the big shot in the UN's human rights council and in the same month commercial neo-fems are holding speeches about cyber misogyny (no, it's not about "cyber violence", because nobody cares about male "victims" which are the majority) in front of the same people (that want to use this for more control over the internet) while ignoring the real shit.
A Japanese company stops selling a series in the country where they sold the most copies because they don't want to be part of a gender politics war that is condemning everyone who is worshipping female anatomy just like the catholic church did in medieval times.
What's wrong with this world? There's nothing "progressive" in all this, it's the ultimate "regression".

I wholly agree, in Stirling's case I think he chooses to ignore because it sounds like he's married to a "progressive" & a common tip for a husband is "a happy wife is a happy life". so I can understand that he could possibly feel that he must appease her. though that does not excuse him for how he acted though, IMHO
