As to objectivity vs. subjectivity. This point has already been discussed ad nauseum. But its been already established that much of any videogame review is based on objective facts and that dishonest reviewers making factual errors (seemingly on purpose to promote their cause) don't get to use subjectivity as an excuse or a cover for their "mistakes". When 75% of a review is about the lack of diversity of a game and it gets downrated as a result, that is failing to be objective. When a reviewer spends most of a review trying to portray a game as utterly sexist, that also fails to be objective. When a reviewer spends the whole review talking about what a great concept a game has and what great people the designers are yet overlooks very obvious flaws in the game such as game length, lack of replayability, poor optimization and inconsistent frame rates or outdated save systems, they are failing to be objective in their review. It's pretty obvious when a reviewer has an axe to grind or a friend to promote and are trying to use their review as a weapon or a favor. Using "subjectivity" as a defense does not cut it.

I'm none of those. I'm just someone who walks around the outside world and sees that things didn't go to hell in hand basket for people listening to feminist critics. Also if someone does dedicate 75% of there review to the lack of diversity in a product than that's just there opinion. Every critic's point of view inevitably comes out in there review. I've read reviews by people who are on the same political spectrum as each other come away with wildly different opinions on the politics of a work of art. That's just life. Well the fact you are promoting this exaggerated wage gap means you are, in fact naive and stupid then. As to reviews, your example is a crappy review and a reviewer who should be fired. A reviewer is not supposed to push their own agenda. A reviewer is supposed to check their own personal biases at the door and, if they feel they cannot, disclose them to the reader. A review is meant to give the reader (or listener) and honest opinion of the quality of a given work so that reader can judge it for themselves. The fact that you seem to find "every opinion from social justice warriors" acceptable but those of people you dislike such as "Gamergate" pretty much makes you a hypocrite.

And no, that is not "part of reviewing art". Lying about a videogame with the intent to turn off readers, is not an acceptable review.
