Except that patriarchy isn't cabal of well suited men plotting to make life hell for women. It's the result of the fact that humanity has a lot of historical baggage on us. Men being our leaders and being the ones with the power is part of that baggage, and for a while it was felt that should be the norm. Now, things are changing. Now, there have been laws passed in various countries to give women more rights we haven't really unlearned much of what we have learned. There's nothing wrong with shedding some unnecessary baggage.

There is so much wrong here that needs to be unpacked that I don't know where to begin.

First of all, what does the Titanic disaster have to do with the existence of patriarchy? And even if you did have some kind of point it is undone by the fact that reason for women and children being the majority of survivors was down to pure chance. The whole "women and children first" thing is a myth. Most likely the result of a miscommunication between Captain Smith, and his officers.

Also there are quiet a few feminists are in favor of no fault divorces as well as many of the other points that have a negative impact on men. If your understanding of feminism is just by going on tumblr, and pointing to those who disagree with you as evil, than you have much to learn my friend.

Patriarchy is based on what...10,000 years of oppression of women through some sort of made up male domination? Really, I don't know how women survived so long with the whole world working against them for so many millenia...

I remember my grandmothers, and I don't recall any of them expressing how "oppressed" they were. And my paternal grandmother really wasn't the type of person to "hold back" what she thought. I really think it would be quite hilarious if some of you were to actually talk to your mom and grandparents about your concept of patriarchy. As to the Titanic, maybe you need to read more history. The naval concept of women and children first has been around since the mid-19th century at the very least. But wait, right, you are a feminist and this somehow makes you so eminently qualified to tell others what really happened on the Titanic and how ethnically diverse 13th century Poland was...
