It is like when people adopt a baby and grew found of it, suddenly the baby sport horns and tails, people will freak out. It is possible that the baby sports wings and halo, but more often than not, we see backlash. We had seen games like prototype and Devil May Cry, even though the gameplay and such is better then the previous game,
You won't see a Tomb Raider game with Lara replaced by a man for sure, maybe replaced by a man with female plastic surgery that looks like a woman again, but I don't even think this will happen.
Men are today what women were in Athens at Sokrates' times. This just shows how far backwards mankind has gone again.

You'd be surprised how many pescetarians, vegetarians, vegans and whatevers don't talk about this at all because of intolerant and often hateful reactions.
It's a bit like being gay some time ago in this regard.

I play the dumb card now. I don't even know what a pescetarian is, but for some odd reason I feel absolutely no shame in admitting my ignorance. Do they only eat meat that comes from plant eating dinosaurs or something?

Its just fish are seen as unintelligent, unemotional and uncaring creatures (which, in all honesty, they mostly are). This makes it morally ok for certain groups to still devour fishies.

Also, some of Jesus' bros were fishermen so eating fish is good according to those religions.

Also: Fish can be easily digested raw if it's fresh and contains way more nutrients this way.
Emobs ridiculing and shoving everything he doesn't understand into a religious corner is exactly the kind of response I meant.

Humans can have many reasons for many things and only the really ignorant believe to know them all, which is kind of religious too.

That's why I mentioned God... at least the female version to stay PC while perusing this thread. All hail Shiva, I guess.

I wonder if eating stupid fish would make one a stupid sinner, or if God just hates people who eat any kind of living thing, thus making a regular fish eater just kind of a regular sinner rather than a stupid one.

It goes both ways, but the vegans are definitely worse than the meat eaters in that regard.

And fuck you for even considering comparing this to being gay. It's not even remotely the same thing. One is a biological piece of who a person is and the other is a voluntary dietary choice that probably isn't even healthy in most cases.

Having been through lots of dietary changes in the last 10 years and therefore having experienced all sides first hand I simply disagree.
Tolerance has nothing to do with that and although I've encountered more of the opposite than you describe, I don't generalize.
Omnivores, vegetarians, vegans and pescetarians alike tend to think bad about people who enslave, mutilate, rape, kill, etc... other animals depending on their reasons and priorities why they decided to avoid this or that (which more often than you think is about the own health on all sides) and the usuals tends to think bad about all veggies because they feel that their moral values are looked down upon. It's as simple and logical as that.
I'd be the last one trying to dissuade someone from going on a hunt for his stuff.

Actually, a biologically deciding factor for bi- or homosexuality has never been proven. Although it really has been searched a lot to prove a point, only aspects making you tend somewhere a bit more have been found and this is the case in practically everything.
Both things are results of a very complex social development and therefore can be compared indeed although I did only compare the reactions to an "outing" and sadly you completely deflected this point with a nice "fuck you".
Besides that it's not always a voluntary choice at all, if you consider lactose intolerance, people with a heart condition, etc... or if you simply cannot eat something out of disgust in order not having to vomit from it, like raw mushrooms, raw meat, whatever.
