Well, it seems both the gamer and brony subculture have a common enemy, SJWs, if you remember the known feminist Amanda Marcotte attacked the show, but that is not the end of it. In the last episode aired a male character pulls a Mrs Doubtfire to help his sister win a competition. This angered SJWs who began to cry transphobia on Tumblr, Deviant Art, and other social networks. The thing is, most bronies are fairly pissed and tired of SJWs, and maybe this is the boiling point. A year ago someone over the Know Your Meme GamerGate comments section posted a PDF (Which I keep a copy of) encouraging bronies to band with us in the battle against SJWs as our common enemy. Well, even before that bronies did not like SJWs, but there seemed to be little motivation to fight them aside from Marcotte's actions and the censorship of a fan blog. But now that SJWs are activelly attacking the show and trying to inject their politics maybe non gamer bronies will notice the importance of this fight for the sake of free speech and artistic freedom.

Yeah I saw this thing and I hope he isn't convicted. He was arrested under the charge of ''Harmful Communication'' and letting something as open as that set a negative precedent is neither going to prevent extremism like his in future nor help the other citizens when expressing their opinions. So I absolutely hope he is let go.
If the case ends with him being punished; it'll be a strong blow to free speech in the UK and the law may even be adopted by governments of other countries. So hopefully the case is rejected as is sensible and the guy let go with a legitimate racism accusation under his belt.

On another note, I am sure you heard about Bahar Mustafa's bigottry and how it led to legal action lately. What is your opinion? Mine is that no matter how horrible she is as a person, and no matter how bigotted and disgusting her actions were, taking legal action for her being a douchebag is not cool. It is kind of censorship and actually what we are supposed to fight against.

I think she should not be in charge of a no role with influence on social interaction, but still her actions were not a crime, what she did was being a total douchebag, and well, that should not be a crime.

Freedom of speech for everyone. She should (and will) be removed from her duties since she is clearly unfit for them and only used them for her personal agenda, but apart from this, she should have the right to spread as much hatred-filled bullshit as she wants although "incitement to mass murder" (white men) clearly crossed the legal line where I live by far. I want to know where people are standing and which ones are dangerous.
