If they care so much about inclusion, I wonder if they'll charge lesser from poorer people because the underprivileged financial classes aren't represented really well in store chains. And of course also to rich people who identify as poor.

New citizens could be educated about their new home. Apparently the paraders just said fuck all and decided to do parade which is in itself designed to make anyone watching cringe. Then another ''liberal'' group came in and criticized them? So the question is, was the first group racist or the second group homophobic? I worry for Sweden sometimes.

I don't think this is an issue. Most children know what they want without the language and I doubt this is going to change that much. It might somewhat reduce bullying, but overall I don't see it really changing much one way or the other.

The lack of standardization over left and right makes this rather confusing. I'm not sure how anti-Nazi leftists are also opposed to gay rights.

noncompliantgame: Like I said, you gotta pick and choose who to engage on this thread. Otherwise you're just wasting your valuable time. Particularly with that one. You'll just drive yourself mad attempting any reasonable level of communication there.

RWarehall: This case I'm not so much engaging as setting the record straight for those who may be reading this thread.
And I just double-checked. And can find no where, anywhere or anyone else claiming Tale of Tales is lying. They have not retracted their statement. Nor has Anita commented at all. Don't you think if Anita didn't receive this money, she'd be saying something about it? Do you think loud-mouth Leigh Alexander wouldn't be responding?

They have not come out to claim its a joke. It's actually more than one Tweet as well. One Tweet where they talk about bribing Anita and getting nothing for it and another directed at Leigh Alexander asking her for the $40,000 Anita owes them. Looking at it in context, it sure seems they are serious about it...

I just don't want some distracting troll who has nothing factual to add to derail the point...
Yes. I understand. It's annoying and so on when there's someone spouting garbage all the time. I generally ignore him/her/it. Most people understand that it's trolling. It rage quit and was going to have GOG delete all it's posts on this thread. Now its back again. Its a bad joke, really. Better to down rep and ignore, IMO.

Look, the authoritarian far left is full of contradictions. They criticize Bush over the war in Iraq (Not that doing so is wrong), while they praise Obama regardless of any unethical action or war attempt (He declared an aliance with the Syrian rebels latelly). It is not about doing what is right, but about gaining power and privileges (Ironic isn't it?) for their own faction, even if that means throwing alied factions under the bus.

Basically they have gone so far left being gay is now racist vs muslims and sexist towards women.
The circle is now complete
It is funny as when I did a Google search to see if Tale of Tales offered any more clarification or if Anita has bothered the comment, I ran across posts from our resident troll on the Idle Thumbs forums. Its quite strange the claims of conspiracy theories when I saw posts there Vain was making trying to "prove" Total Biscuit is one of the Gamergate originators. For someone who claims neutrality, its strange that the Anti-GG crowd seem so adamant to paint John Bain as a GG ringleader.

That's not even remotely the same thing. Many tens of thousands of people died because Bush went into Iraq with no plan for securing the borders or the people from extremists.

It's not even a matter of whether the war was justifiable in the first place, he went in knowing there was no exit-strategy and that the amount of troops was woefully inadequate to cover the needs of the mission. He then failed to ensure that leadership was adequately monitoring the actions of the military in the region.

To make matters even worse, he dismantled all of their internal security without first providing for some sort of functioning security force. Eventually the violence was stopped, but mostly because they ran out of people to kill.

I think more likely, left and right are relative labels. But even that doesn't quite explain it as the left in the US is generally opposed to Nazism whereas the right tends to be OK with it as long as you don't call it Nazism or Fascism. So in that dimension it's the same, the rest of it is rather strange.

OMG you're right. Its the nest logical step. Being straight male=homophobic. Being gay male = sexist. Being straight female = homophobic, being lesbian female = racist to people from Asian countries.
Solution? I think Pastor Jim Jones had a bright idea worth considering.

This is still going on? =P
Why not? From what I gather, the fight is just getting started.
This is actually good news, although most people ignored this anyway, there were always girls who like to play with small cars and boys who like to play with dolls and there's nothing wrong with that. At least now another reason to feel awkward about it is gone. I haven't seen such gender based areas for kids toys over here for a long time anyway though.

Afaik, some party did it only to stir up emotion in an attempt to use the LGBT movement to annoy muslims.
Hmm, if they use a gay-rights-march this way, it sounds to me, like they are anti-Islam and not really racists, since Islam is really (!) strongly opposed to homosexuality and by the way imho a far right religion.
This makes them rather leftist, but I'm still confused with how all those labels are used against each other since it's all really contradictory anyway.

Both cases can be seen as good or bad depending on the perspecive. For example, the target case can be seen as bad if you consider that they did so not out of their own conviction, but out of peer pressure. And the case in Sweden is basically self contradictory because Sweden in an attempt do support everyone and be "inclussive" has forced backward ideals.

Again, there are still people banging on about vaccines causing autism. The idea that something like this is still going on isn't really all that shocking when you think about it.

One thing I noticed on that page is, that every twitter citation is sourced by an archive link further down the page, only the $40000 tweet is only the jpeg.

To be honest, as always with that one sentence Twitter shit, it is not quite clear if Tale of Tales is just making fun of gamers and making a joke or if they are serious.
