Rusty_Gunn: I agree, when the issue is something like this no one is really helped IMHO.
That Radhika Sanghani is extremely thick - she posts Twitter posts that are taking the piss out of her and actually thinks they're supporting her *facepalms* That's modern feminism for you.

WBGhiro: Why don't they switch jobs with a priviliged male and pull off 8+ hours of heavy manual labor under the sweltering heat.

You know what feminists should really be mad about? This:

Lady Gaga made a video that is practically an ad for K.O.-drops and rape with two actual real-life sexual predators in it... anything goes for gaining publicity?

Seriously: What the f***?

"the video she didn't want you to see." X-D Yeah! Right!
While the people she was producing it with weren't good, I think that the video's concept sounds interesting and I feel that we shouldn't restrict creative freedom or mark certain topics as forbidden when it comes to artistic expression. I don't like the precedent that sets as it seems to be the thing we are generally against.

I agree, still not enough outrage for the video by modern standards. It is as if you are female and famous, or just female, you can get away with anything, from questionable content like this to child molestation (Lena Dunham)

Vox media tells the EFF to STFU. Vox has had a recent sponsorship with Comca$t.

So, for people who allegedly follow Marxism, they seem to be all in to give a good push to corporate when they're paid for it. Kinda resonates with the many hype articles for games released on a near daily basis from the gaming sites.

EFF= Electronic Frontier Foundation; an NGO that campaigns peacefully for internet freedoms and anti-consorship.

You have a source for that? My Google-fu is failing me.

And they're anti-DRM, which I imagine is relevant to many on this site.

Thanks for that. The actual EFF thing and the response are worlds apart. I mean, they're talking about completely different things. The EFF thing warns about powers that could and have been abused and provides examples, whereas the voxindie piece is just "piracy is bad" over and over again as though the EFF were trying to protect piracy.

Not that it's surprising—I get the ASCAP newsletter and it's all similar the-sky-is-falling stuff about piracy actively murdering artists' families and summoning Cthulhu. Just a bunch of thinly-veiled propaganda.

Is voxindie.org a part of Vox Media, though? I haven't found any connections between the two other than the similar name, and the site isn't listed among their owned sites on their Wikipedia page. I'm thinking it's an unrelated site, so that Comcast bit might not be a relevant factor.

SJs aren't very good at arguing as much as claiming shallow opinions as facts.
But I don't know, maybe it was a mistake. They're probably owned by the same company? I'll have to look it up.

Some people will be happy about this: Bizzaro-Kotaku, I mean Reaxxion, is closing down.
http://www.reaxxion.com/10995/reaxxion-is-closing

Not surprising, they had a good start thanks to being pro-GamerGate, but that alone is not enough to carry a site, you also need quality content. Almost every article title started with a question word (why, how, ...) or a count (X reasons for...) and many articles were written just to be inflammatory. And that's not even talking about articles that were nothing but someone's fanboy blog entry. I remember an article titles "4 reasons why men love Legend of Korra" (of course it's a question and a count) and the comments section was just hilarious because no one liked the show. The author went then on to make a follow up articles "Why you are wrong about Korra" because he was butthurt that no one shared his opinion about a cartoon.

Ah well it's getting more and more difficult to find sites that point to some of the crazy creepy threats the artificially mainstreamed fringe dwellers are getting up to against the rest of us. And it's rare to find a publication with articles that are both short and to the point, and yet have an intelligent and mature approach. But hey ... you win some, you lose some.
It's as if journalism takes skill or something. Quite a shocking idea.
Roosh is being harassed left and right : http://www.returnofkings.com/68909/sara-parker-toulson-also-publicly-supported-a-sjw-who-desires-that-rooshs-daughter-be-raped#prettyPhoto
Kinda overly psychotically rabid for trying to stop a borderline powerless and probably ever so slightly delusional blogger with an audience of at most 10,000 people. False rape claims have been claimed (nothing more; as per protocol until at least 50% growth on Patreon) and the yellow outlets have been paid off with money or politically. I see defamation suits and Roosh getting richer as a result of this..................
