227: Also, I guess the success of Mario games in the 80s and 90s reflects a high number of people who were experimenting with mushrooms around that time and trying to justify their drug addiction. How have we been so blind all of this time?
Mario is harmless compared to Pacman. Dark rooms, neon colours, electronic music, eating pills all the time... Poor little Pacman already suffered from persecutory delusions, seeing ghosts around every corner. Mushroom Mario was nothing compared to him.
No you're all wrong guys, doom is the worst game. It proves there was a cult of 5 year olds who raised the dead in an abandoned spaceship and inhumanely shot the already dead but now undead scum. Like, if all this isn't opening your eyes to our one true lord and savior the rainbow sentinel and not encouraging you to smash GG skulls, you are misogynistic scum who are part of the problem and need to be wiped out along with other bigots.

noncompliantgame: lol. That was the shortest rage quit ever!

Here's some sage advice for us all from Ramzpaul. And before the triggering and micro-aggressing and butt-hurting begineth just, once again, let me say one can entertain an opinion without agreeing with everything covered in said opinion. Altho on the other hand, so what?

Shadowstalker16: Indeed. Contemplation of an opinion without accepting is a virtue; as some guy whose name I can't remember said.

EDIT: Japan being based again : https://archive.is/vXNFc We can firmly conclude the human race will have yet a chance until the Japanese are gone.

EDIT 2 : crack head anti harassment autoblocker hipster is starting to get in trouble. She has harassed many, and is probably the person who is personally responsible for many leaving the webz. Vivek Wadhwa : https://twitter.com/wadhwa/status/624377446784192513 on the topic. Seriously, what kind of turd believes her?

EDIT 3 : THA FUCK ? I'M NOT GONNA STOP PLAYING! THEY CAN SHOVE THEIR WHITE SUPREMACY UP THEIR PATRIARCHY. https://www.reddit.com/r/KotakuInAction/comments/3ecizw/socjus_if_you_play_total_war_games_youre_now_a/

“The Middle Ages is a space where white supremacy is legitimized,” Cooper said, according to an article on Medievalists.net.
Never mind the fact that 90%+ of the population were indentured serfs and couldn't travel at least in part due to the absence of fast and affordable global travel and were likely illiterate and completely ignorant of the world beyond their village and never mind the fact that the overwhelming majority of rpg games in medieval/fantasy settings have a vast and diverse choice of characters to chose from and most strategy games have diverse choice of nations to chose from - as per usual this paper is directed at people who know nothing of video games.

The article from mediaeval dot net about Cooper's paper is full of the usual pc prejudices and clearly they know next to nothing about GG other than what they saw on law and order.

Unfortunately for gamers, the tide is turning and the inspection of their identities is happening whether they like it or not, and will continue to gain momentum. Games like Skyrim, and The Elder Scrolls are only the tip of the iceberg. What Gamergate tried to shut down, instead, opened a Pandora’s Box that can never be closed. Academics, like Cooper, will continue to challenge, examine and illustrate the ways these groups misappropriate medieval history.
So called academia is a joke to the rest of the world and it's good to see people are taking this garbage to task.

Anti-neofem and non-gamer Diana Davison's commentary on Old Sarky and GG contains a brief "feminist" ananlysis of pacman.

Shadowstalker16: History based games are my life man. ....
This means you are probably familiar with Rome: Total War mod named Europa Barbarorum. If you are not, if you have original Rome:TW and lots of free time I can only recommend it.

I'm bringing it here as positive response to all professional complainers about games' content. The whole mod began with some people dissatisfied with the way Creative Assembly represented some factions in Rome:TW, but their "outrage" was aimed to positive effect: "how to make it better" rather than "how to force the others to change it according to our demands".
The final product surpassed the original game in every way expect the size and speed and doubles as interactive history book about ancient Roman world - and I mean scholar's history, not the "politically correct" or flashy "Hollywood" version.
...Games like Skyrim, and The Elder Scrolls...

Skyrim and the elder scrolls?
You never heard of the installment "The elder scrolls: elder scrolls"?

Yes, I've heard of EB, and I intend to try it out. I have Rome 2 and 1 ATM and I'm playing 2. But far from outrage, its critique of the arcadey-ness of R1 and a historically accurate fix that went above and beyond the base game. Most people demanding stuff be changed in games doesn't have half a brain when compared to such people.

EDIT: Apparently, vice is getting in on the hipster gamer market and making a game site for the non-gamer crowd to understand games. After Kotaku, Ploygon and G$, this will be my fourth boycott of a site. Any site that sources from Brianna Wu and hires Leigh Alexander is beyond saving.

It's a quote from mediaeval dot net. Concentrate when reading. And try to remember to go to the bathroom from time to time.

Yeah, I know. But GOG forum quoting does things however they happen to please, as always.

This should be archived just in case it gets deleted, this is pure gold, I mean, it makes total sense, it is not the first time someone describes SOCJUS and feminism as religious thought, but it is one of the best explained examples.
