Seriously they asked some questions, then other people in the audience picked the points up to ask further questions.

The panelists if they felt the questions disruptive could have asked to delay them to the end of the panel.

The panelists saw their points they wanted to paint being challenged, they could not disprove what was being asked, so they silenced the opposing opinions with harassment by GG argument. If what Alison asked is called interrupting and shutting down a discussion, well than in the near future we will have no discussions anymore. Any opposing opinion to something will be called harassment. when you express it.

But be happy you will get the hour of hate everyday to make up for it.

I wish Alison all the best, she seems very upset /sad in the 2nd video.

I'm seriously shocked how anybody can claim this as "disruptive" and use it as a reason to throw someone out, this totalitarianism has to stop for the sake of everybody.

I don't see them doing this for the love of anything, it's just the usual dark side: control and power through hatred, anger, uniformity and intolerance.

Not all of them were banned. They banned only the comic artist, Alison, for life from all conventions hosted by them.
The rest was just kicked out with her.

In short:
She stated the opinion write the comics you want to see yourself, do not try to change and dictate what do you want to see. A woman is not a victim, a woman is powerful and can do things herself. Did not go down well with the feminists there in the panel it seems and was considered harassment..

Well being a founding member of HBB and going along with GG may have supported the decision.

I have little familiarity with HBB. Not sure what they stand for. I do know they support GG or at least some efforts by the looks of things.

Having looked at the incident and the audio I don't really see why she was banned. I need to see what the convention rules are for vendors, maybe that had something to do with it?

From the outset though (I say this as I have not yet read through everything, my opinion may change) it really does seem like a "Go home gamer girl" from rad fems.

Notice how she doesn't ask for retribution or society to change. In fact she actively dissuades people from retribution. She only asks people to support a vendor that was supportive to her.

This is just so screwed up. Dissent or differences of opinion shouldn't be treated this harshly. Go home gamer girl indeed.

I was playing Payday 2 just the other day, and a girl happened to join our team, and the two other guys respectfully asked her to leave, because they didn't feel comfortable playing with someone who could potentially slap abuse cases on them. They were polite about it, I'll give them that, but we knew nothing about that poor girl. She could have been really skilled and been a major help, but that didn't matter, because of the piss poor narrative you people have painted for normal gamers like me.

This isn't even an isolated occurence. I read that a woman gamer was asked to leave a DBZ game as well, for essentially the same reasons. So instead of making a "safe space" for women, what you're doing is making a clear division for people who never had a problem with it prior. I'm sick to death of people like you, peddling hatred in guise of progress, division in place of unity, and segregation instead of free congress with like minded people, regardless of background or ethnicity. If ANYONE is full of hate. It's not GG or normal gamers. It's you.
