RWarehall: I think the problem with such surveys is the methodology. If you ask people of both genders if they like TV, or like books, or like movies. Most people will say yes and it will mirror the total percentage in the population. Without seeing this methodology and without more information, I'm going to guess this was how it was derived.
What percentage of people when asked if they like video games will say "No"?
What percentage of people when asked if they like comic books will say "No"?
If the answer is less than half, its hard to expect the female to male ratio to be anything other than close to 50/50.
The comments section seemed to be saying that it was based on the ratio of genders amongst FaceBook likes or something... What percentage of people when asked if they like video games will say "No"?
What percentage of people when asked if they like comic books will say "No"?
If the answer is less than half, its hard to expect the female to male ratio to be anything other than close to 50/50.
So REALLY scientific then...
