TheDudeLebowski: I was thinking of getting Titanic, solely based on personally knowing one of the people who worked on the game, but I guess I'll pass.
"Now, it is clear that the people who created it have a passion for the whole Titanic story."
Except the person I know who worked on it!
No way! xD
TheDudeLebowski: On a different note, I recently played Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments, which was extremely enjoyable. Highly recommended. After 30 years of adventure games, having played about 150 of them (I know it's not a lot when compared to some people on adventuregamers.com), I am starting to grow tired of inventory based adventure games, and this one had a fresh take in my view.
Currently playing Sherlock Holmes: Nemesis, which is not as enjoyable for me. It also feels more traditional in a sense, even though it's also an investigative adventure.
Crimes and Punishments is the only one I haven't played yet, but from things I've read it's more modern in style.
I played all previous Frogwares series in release order, back to back. I loved them! Pretty lengthy games with tons of exploration. Also, by playing them in this order, I could "see" how Frogwares progressed the series by gradually ironing out annoying stuff and experimenting a bit in each entry.
I would suggest you start from the Silver Earring (my least favorite) up to the Testament. On the other hand, they are not interconnected so you may as well play them in any order. In any case, don't give it up :) I believe that if you like this one, you'll want to play the rest as well.
