EDIT: In case anyone else is like me and forgot the number of their post... I just used the link in the characters spreadsheet to save trouble.

Control + F and type the name of your character or your nickname in GOG. Then, just check the link by the end of the row.

Control + "+" if you want larger text, you know.

If there is anything wrong in the spreadsheet, the fault is all mine. Just let me know via PM if you would like to have anything changed.

Fight 27

A flaming phoenix swoops into the arena from the sky drawing gasps from the crowd. It hits the ground with a mighty explosion but when the flames and smoke clears (1) Celia stands in its place.
A mirror image of Celia walks in to face her. (44) no_body smiles a wicked grin.

Celia is so angry at being impersonated that she fails to notice no_body's sneak attack. He whispers a spell under his breath and iron shackles encase her wrists. With a gasp she falls to the ground as the cold metal drains the life from her body.

no_body laughs at his easy victory until he hears a cackling old voice mocking him in his head. "Remember the curse of the damsel in distress."

His memory goes back to when he was a young man. Riding through the forest with his friends, they spot what looks a comely young lass from behind stuck up to her waist in a bog, crying out for help.
Grabbing his rope he rushes to save the maiden and maybe win her heart in the process. "Grab this rope and I will pu..." his voice trails off as he gets closer. That face, dear God he has never seen an uglier woman! Her nose is so crooked as to be almost bent in two. There are multiple warts and a monobrow over her too close together eyes.

"Please help me" implores the lady "I need to get back to my people".
With his friends looking on, no_body sneers "I got mud all over my boots and you have a nerve to look like that!" He spits on the crying woman as his friends laugh and clap him on the shoulders.

As he walks back to his horse he hears an ominous voice behind him "You dare to refuse aid to one of the Delmati Gypsies? I curse you from this day forward that should you ever find a damsel in distress again, whether by your hand or not, you will be compelled to do all you can to aid them, no matter what the cost is to yourself!"

no_body's mind clears as he returns to the present to see Celia on the brink of death before him.
He feels the familiar urge taking over his actions from him as he tries to fight it through gritted teeth. Against his will, he dismisses the iron shackles and transfers his life force to the ailing mage.
Gasping, he looks up to see Celia staring at him with determination in her eyes. She throws her hands forward and a wave of flames obliterates no_body leaving just ashes in their wake.

Celia turns into a pillar of flame and shoots up into the sky and out of the arena.
no_body is in the tavern vowing to find a way to overturn the Gypsies curse.

Well, at least nobody suffered a gruesome, painful defeat. Also, nobody was harmed in the course of this tournament.

These are still great - that phoenix curse fight was a nice little tie in. I can't believe how many characters there are and how many I had fogotten about!

Sad to see Jason Jennifer Lee go - LOVE Mallrats ;) and Ooblex the Gooblex just because the name is perfect for a giant gelatinous blob.

Poor no_body, those Gypsy courses can be quite annoying, I once knew a certain insulting clown who was cursed to never being able to take off his makeup. :P

Haha, I love the Marx brothers, they were such talented comedians and musicians too. And how cool it is that A Night at the Opera and a Day at the Races were referenced in the titles of two of Queen's greatest albums. :)

That surely sounds frustrating. Besides the many challenges of having to share a body, being stuck with your siblings all day, every day, for the rest of your life, would be the hardest part for me.

I really want that, but I think I will wait some more time on this game.

But because the future has so many possibilities, he is sometimes like frozen because all his mind capacity is focused on finding the road to victory so that he misses the point where has to act.
