Lily is facing the lighthouse? *gulp* Ok, take a deep breath... "It's okay Lily, you'll be fine." *pets her cerberus*

Lily whines with one head, looks confused with the right head, drinks some water with her left head. All heads look up in thought before scratching her neck. She starts to drool as she thinks she might be able to think of the lighthouse as a giant toy, which gives her confidence.

"That's a good girl Lily, you can do it" says me, her trainer, while tossing steaks to her. She appreciates the food.

I've been absent for a few days because of having too much work, I'm sorry I missed the voting, congratulations to those who made it to the second round and good luck to everyone! Can't wait to see how things keep developing! :D

While I didn't have much time to work on the website, it wasn't completely neglected these days, it's been slowly taking shape. I'll update it with the latest fights later tonight and the first character profiles (all the names are in, now I just need to keep filling the text and images).

Cool! I've been saving the character images that have been posted in the comments since last time I visited the forum. Sorry it took a while to reply, I've been crazy busy with my job the last few days and had not visited GOG.

Another Machine Again ?

Skreetch Bonefoot screams in fear as he is dragged back into the arena by two bouncers.

nobody is walking around Arena in focused silence... nobody is here yet to fight (edit: except "Skreetch Bonefoot screams in fear as he is dragged back into the arena by two bouncers." :D) and some gnomes fixing pillars and benches and chairs, and fencing and a stone floor after tremendous fights that have taken place here not long ago... as I travelled trough time I visited many spacetimes...nooo that sounds to serious...when I was a child.... noooo this is silly....hmm... look at the start of GOG.com with 64 games... it gave me warm feelings...yh! this one is good...but link...link! where is it? no_body knows 26December2008 12 years ago a portal to future has been opened...and now... now then : ) For the Giveaways! ^ Good Place ! I like fireballs and bloody monsters too what a place ! :D

ROUND 2

Fight 1

The arena having been repaired following ninja golem's destructive antics, the crowd take their seats eagerly awaiting the first fight.

Through the left gate comes the tiny kitten (51) Celeste, speeding into the arena before stopping to lick its paws adorably.
From the right comes the Dwarf (24) Og'rialt, eyes darting left and right taking stock of the situation.

Og'rialt cautiously approaches the kitten having seen its sudden growth spurt in the previous round. As he gets close he whips out a ball of yarn from behind his back and dangles it in the air. Celeste excitedly runs for the yarn, her one true weakness, but as she gets close Og'rialt pulls it out of her reach and she instead runs into the pillar behind with a little "mew".

Celeste chides herself for her momentary weakness and spins to face her foe. The Dwarf is nowhere to be seen but the ball of yarn hangs motionless in the air. "Must... resist... yarn..." it is no good, Celeste can't help herself and charges forward to grab the yarn ball with her tiny paws. As she does, six sides of pure energy zoom in to form a box around her.
"YES!" shouts Og'rialt, "I knew one of my traps would come in handy at some point. I've only been waiting 23 years for it to happen."

Og'rialt leaves the arena feeling quite proud of himself.
Celeste is chasing a ball of yarn around the tavern.

Fight 2

The crowd falls deathly silent, many of the male occupants not daring to look the next combatant in the eye.
(33) Mother of All Mothers in Law enters tutting at a gelatinous blob that is dripping slime down the side of the arena wall nearest her. She fixes a hateful glare on the pitiful creature which slides backwards and under its seat.
Opposite enters the mindreading housecat (43) April Ryan. From the collective conscience around her she feels the fear and loathing towards her foe.

Mother of All Mothers in Law regards the cat with contempt. "What are you doing out of your house? Who is looking after your kittens? That is your responsibility and instead you are here strutting around like a cheap whore, offering yourself to all comers! Hussy, I smell your cheap perfume, you should have settled down by now instead of throwing yourself at sailors and other delinquents!"
April Ryan curls up into a ball, shivering, wishing she was back in the tavern with a nice bowl of warm milk. Her wish is granted and she lets out a loud sigh at being away from that horrid woman.

Mother of All Mothers in Law makes her way towards the exit grabbing a young, purple woman on her way. "Button up that top, have some self respect or I'll come back for you." She cackles as she leaves the arena.

Fight 3

The atmosphere is still tense when a string of spider web shoots out to attach to one of the pillars and in swings (106) Generic Superhero. The crowd cheers remembering his exploits from the first round.
Facing him is the ice mage (4) Silvyr Erric who pipes up "you may have many superheroes strengths but I'm guessing that means you also have many of their weaknesses".

Silvyr Erric raises a hand and sends long shards of razor sharp ice flying towards his opponent. Generic Superhero in turn raises his own hand and commands the ice shards to spin around and fly back the way they came.
Growling, Silvyr Erric forms a protective sheet of ice in front of himself that his missiles smash into, breaking apart.

Generic Superhero smiles, "It's one thing knowing my weaknesses and another actually exploiting them" he flies towards Silvyr Erric and then faster than the eye can follow, zooms around the mage again and again and again an infinite number of times.
For Silvyr Erric, the world becomes a blur as he feels himself being torn through time. When the spinning stops he finds himself stood in the tavern, 12 years old and with his robes hanging loosely about him. "What the hell!" he exclaims, bewilderment on his face.
Generic Superhero dons his cape and flies out of the arena, cheers following him all the way.

okay.I admit. Mother of All Mothers in Law rules.

One hateful glare to rule them all.
