Dogmaus: great track from a classic dance album. I had the "acqua" blue transparent tape. Some friends of mine made a crossover metal cover. Old times! I think they were deeper than people thought, actually very smart track about a society of appearences and wanting to look successful. And looking at FB and Instagram today, they naiiled it.
Nice, I would really like to have seen that :)
Absolutely. I didn't think so much about the double meanings back then (for obvious reasons...), but yeah, also the promiscuous nature of the human psyche is something they verbally flirted with. Many of the 90's eurodance and the late 90's dance music had some deeper meanings. At the same time their music videos, lyrics and choice of clothes certainly got more and more wild and crazy with each passing year. Just look at music videos today (at least if we're comparing most of 80' and 24-7's "Slave to the music" f.ex..).
Then again, Eurodance
is known to be filled with catchy tunes with completely wacky lyrics sometimes, that's its trademark. Personally though, I don't care what they sing about really as long as it sounds good :D
"Go cheeta, get banana, hey monkey, get funky"!
"wiggle you batty an wave you han an jump around ina style an pattana"
Again, love these fights. Speaking of, maybe we should have a Karaoke scene with a fountain in The Tavern just so people can cry in the rain?
