Did King Art Games say already that this game will be released on GOG too?

I seem to remember this being on SPCM's scrapped list of upcoming games so I'd say there's a fairly high chance of it coming.
The Dwarves? Never read the books. But I like the "Albae" novels of Markus Heitz. Better, they make a game of this book series.

Looked at the kickstarter page and saw "epic real-time combat", and have already decided "no" to this game. Real-time combat is not what I think of when I see RPG and is not what I'm looking for when I am looking for an RPG. Sorry!
Looks ok from what I can see. Will be interested when it comes here. Do note its not the first dwarf game though, DA:O you could play a dwarf from two backgrounds for example.
Over whelming odds can only happen in games and it looks a short story.

adaliabooks: Hmmm. Was quite interested when I saw it was an RPG about dwarves, less so when I realised what it was based on...

They might have lost something in the translation, but god those books were awful...

JinKazaragi: In that case they must have lost a lot in the translation.
I read them in german and they were the best Fantasy-books I read so far (and I read a lot of fantasy-books)
Don`t know those ones, but I read his "Legenden der Albae" books and they were very good. What I don`t like is the fact that I have to get me now the "Zwerge" books, because they contain parts of the Albae story which he should better have written in the Albae books.

He wrote the Albae books for the fans of the "Zwerge" because many of them were interested in getting more informaiton about them, so it's not surprising that the content of the "Zwerge" is assumed as existing knowledge.
