Drunken rant:
I got a second job working as a hotel auditor for decent pay, so I finally quit my first shitty job of 4 years making minimum wage when they want to promote me and give me an actual raise. For some reason I feel insulted that they would bribe me to stay with a promotion after all this time. I should be happy to be out of there, but I've been there so long it seems lonely to leave it... Stockholm Syndrome, maybe? Ah, well, Captain Morgan is all the company I need right now.

Well, I've had enough of my own homebrew to feel sagacious so pardon my effrontery.

Companies will always pay you as little as you let them; it's in their best interests to do so. If dollars matter to you (and they should) then chase them for a while. It's much better to feel lonely for four or five years, hopping jobs and taking a pay raise or promotion along the way, than it is to stay with a (typical) company and hope to someday be rewarded for your hard work. Nobody tells you this in school (or at least none of the younger folk who ask me for advice ever say they've been told this) but your salary history is one of the biggest factors in your current income. So increase your value, feel lonely for a couple years, and then find a lovely place to settle down once you have a salary history of a hundred grand a year. You'll have the rest of your life to thank yourself for it.
Uni is freaking hard.
It's either Vodka with Strawberry Watermelon soda water or beer for me. But not of course when I am working :)

I'm going to be very honest here I am outraged by the prices of certain alcohol. There is this big bottle of Vodka I like to enjoy at our local store and it's price goes up and down everyday. One day the price would be $9.99 and the next day it would be $12.99 and a day later back to $11.99

I just don't understand the logic between some stores pricing , supply and demand.

To put it very basic: The more demanded that bottle of Vodka is and the fewer it is in stock, the higher the price. This being said, alcohol is pretty cheap in U.S. Don't get me wrong, it has the same price just like in my home country, but the differences in economies makes alcohol overpriced for what common people can afford, hence why most people make their own alcohol and would rather drink traditional Romanian beverages over the foreign big brand ones.

I can approve that message. I got a second job as a stunt man, falling down hotel staircases and elevator shafts. Captain Morgan is also the only company I need right now.

The rum is gone? Why is all the rum gone?

Its 3 hours till my bedtime, I have to work but I'm too damned tired.

Gonna pour me some cheap red wine, and play me some Carmageddon.
Good opportunity to post here. Wife and I were exchanging childhood stories. It's her birthday. Have half a bottle of Irish whiskey inside me. Need to get up in 6 hours. Good night fellas!
And good luck to you!

If you think 12.99 is a high price for a big vodka bottle then don't ever enter a Quebec liquor store, you'll have an aneurysm.
That price will only get you a small bottle: SAQ Vodka Prices

That's odd, I never get hangovers from rum. I can drink half a bottle of rum and feel fine the next day, but I can drink just 2 or 3 beers and feel like hammered shit the next day. Must be the carbs.
