Imagine if the sheer power of whining could be turned to benefit science. Space travel! The cure to cancer! No more famine!

BleepBl00p: If you want an objective review of DAO just browse GOG or Steam, pick the longest negative review from someone who has enough vocabulary to describe in-game flaws and its all there. Crosmando did a pretty good resume too.
Unfortunately there are hardly any negative reviews of DAO on GOG. 18.5 pages out of 23 are reviews with a rating of 4/5 or higher. The view negative reviews that are there mostly consist of just one sentence.

So I guess all the gamers that left positive reviews on GOG (about 80% of all reviewers) are just not critical enough?

Actually I know people who are, or who were until their death. It's very impressive. And lives, so many, have been saved by them.

They never managed to change the world, though. But they have changed individual lives. Saved some people from "honor crimes", others from forced prostitution, from human trafficking, from abominable third world diseases, from various forms of child slavery or exploitation. Yeah, more people like that would make much more of a difference. But still.

Some people do.

So you disliked the intro in the Dune film? The film's biggest problem in my mind was that it was way too short to tell such a long story. I think a 6-30h TV series would have been much better.

I should watch it some day. The film must not have made any sense to those who never read the books.

A bit on topic:
Picking out some recommendations or something is not an easy task for a shop as there will always be customers who think the choices are 75% wrong. After all, there are extremely few games where just about everyone agrees it is a super great game. Heck, not even real life is good enough for a lot of people.

This definition doesn't mention who the judges are.

Anyway, all your posts here just show you trying to push your personal opinions and a lack of logical arguments. There exists no scientific method to validate games as good or bad... or classic.
