Hi!

Well, I was planning to create an anniversary GA (November 2014, the month I really start using the forum) with much more games, but due some stupid communism government that is almost impossible for me. But hey, is better to GA those games now than never. And what a better moment to create GA when Bethesda games get into GOG's!!?? Good to go GOG!

The short version:
Everybody can entry per 1 game, BUT every game winner will be chosen for the GOG forum community, voting for the contester that you think deserve the game the most.
So let's say I enter for X game, my entry will only be valid as anyone votes for me.
Who say online friends aren't necessary?

The long version:
For this GA I will need community help since entries will need votes in order to achieve their desire game. It does not matter how contesters get people to vote for their entry, but obviously, the more votes receive one entry, the more chances to win. But hey, please enter only if you want the game; entries like "I am in for X, th, +1", without some more chatting and more effort only demonstrate that you don't really want the game; most likely I will choose the next person with more votes, if there is not, I will donate it to TBBBBOB.

The rules:
1. 1 entry 1 game. If any game gets no entries, will be donated to TBBBBOB, when it reopens.
2. The community will choose the winners. So you have to state very clear that you are in, and for who you vote.
3. You can't vote for yourself.
4. Even I trust in community wisdom to choose winners, I reserve the right to change final winners.
5. The prices are for personal use, not to retrade/gifts/donate etc.
6. I reserve the right to create and/or modify any rules.
NEW! 7. Some say that vote must be secret, so if you want to vote but not in public, you can send me a PM stating the person for who your vote is going to.

Jagged Alliance is good game. But the publisher of game has an infamous history of screwing developers.

i think this idea from a GA good i want try my luck for Flatout if i have right understand i need to make a posting and hope what someone give likes and vote for me. Also will try my own luck, and am in for Montague's Mount, since It's the only game in your collection I don't already own and it's an Adventure (I do love my Adventures) and it's featuring Gaelic (irish language) and since I want to move to Ireland as soon as I can manage it, it would be a great excuse to see how the natives there articulate ;) Also it does seem to have quite the tense Atmosphere and I am a sucker for those.

I already own most of the games you list. However, Jagged Alliance 2 is probably my #1 favourite game EVER! (I don't judge games objectively, so this is never a list to take too seriously).

I already have an old 2 CDs burned version of the game that I think is full of bit rot. I also own a slightly more recent 1 pressed CD that came with a games magazine, but it came with a cardboard sleeve. I'm afraid it will be too scratched soon. I should keep it for archival purposes. Furthermore, I don't expect to have a CD reader on my next PC.

The 1.13 version brings huge improvements. Releases are very infrequent (the last one was... almost a year ago, which is considered almost recent). I have been thinking about getting a digital copy of this game from GOG. But there are new games too! Are the new games as good as JA2? Maybe not. Oh, what should I do?

NO! I wasn't clear, what I mean is that those who make a entry for any game, need someone else to vote for their entry! So, let's say you enter for JA2, and 3 forum members post here saying that they vote for you and you result being the entry with most votes, then you will get the game! :D JA is a nive game, kinda addictive if you like strategy games. However, I think it lack some features to be a very good game, maybe more money and develop time, not really sure, but what I can tell you is that JA2 is the best franchise title, at least for me! But Deadly Games is a good place to start.


I think MM is a very interesting game! I really like it and I recommend it for those who love adventure games. I really do not understand why this game have so many down votes here and Steam's version. Hey, if you are looking for action, this game isn't for you.

To me, JA2 is the best franchise title, but I have played not much latest releases like Flashback and BackInAction. Those last 2 are good, but it feels more like other game. I am not sure if that is for the engine change or because developers did it on purpose. However, if you ever had the chance to try any demo, you should!
As for digital games, I think we all should a digital copy of our beloved games :P

I saw the list of games and I thought I already had some of them but it seems I don't. I've been told that Jagged Alliance is a good series so I'm going to go for Jagged Alliance 2 since I have never played it and the only strategy game I've been playing lately is X-COM: Enemy Unknown.

I read the rules and I don't see anything against nomitating myself and voting for someone else, so I vote for HijacK with Jagged Alliance: Deadly Games
