tomyam80: Hmmm, it's interesting how someone like sharonbn can qualify but i dun. If it's based on non-giveaway activity i dun think i hv any less than some who i shall not mention, just that they may not appear in the search unless my name appears in the post. However, being the host of this giveaway u hv of cos every right to give at ur discretion & i respect that. Though i must say ur discretion is questionable if not vague.
zeogold: No offense to you, but there are a few things about you that make me suspicious:
1. Your typing is in a fair amount of disarray, which is sometimes a sign of a scammer (since for some reason, those guys just don't know how to speak proper English).
2. The posts you've made in the non-giveaway threads have not struck me as particularly meaningful.
3. I know who you're talking about, but this person (and others) have been repeatedly shown to give away games. That's WHY they show up so much in the giveaway forums.
4. If you don't know why sharonbn qualifies, you obviously haven't read the OP. Which is sort of a bad sign.
If somebody reputable will vouch for you, then maybe I'll reconsider, but as it stands, I'd rather the game go to somebody else. Sorry.
No offense taken but i believe the points u mention hardly qualifies me as suspicious:
1. My typing has ALWAYS been like that as far as i hv been on this forum. If u dun already know abt it i guess u may not hv been on the forum long enough to know. ;) I'm not sure exactly wat u meant as 'disarray' but by that u meant using the short forms that i use then u may be 'right' but personally i dun consider them as so.
2. Every1's definition of meaningful post is different so i shall not comment on this. U are free to judge, just like i dun find ur posts particularly meaningful either. I can only say i dun post for the sake of posting unlike some ppl & each post i made is for a particular reason.
3. I dun think u know who i'm talking abt. Anyway, the pt i was saying is 'participation in non-giveaway' threads so even if a person repeatly giveaway games they are still considered as participation in giveaway threads.
4. Yes i read the OP but i guess u didn't c i mentioned i respect ur decision. The funny thing is u said u only accept donations from 'reputable' members but he was considered new so that kinda contradicts wat u said.
Anyway, i reckon there is @ least a couple of those reputable members who would be willing to vouch for me but i wld not request that they do that since i only wanted to give the game a try & is not a must-get for me so i wld rather some1 more 'qualified' (which is decided solely based on ur discretion) gets it instead.
zeogold: I have no idea how you managed to find these nominations
siulebuo: They are "friends" in Steam (that's it, at any time we send a gift one to another and that make us "friends"). When you goes to a game page in Steam, there are a list of "friends" of yours that have that game wishlisted.
By the way, although tomyam80's typing always bothers me (because I do not understand half of what he says), I can vouch for him.
Many thks for vouching for me, i truly appreciate it but as i mentioned earlier i wld respectfully decline Zeogold since he thinks i'm suspicious as a scammer, lol. ;)
Still, i wld thk Zeogold for donating the game & kindly agreeing to host this giveaway which is a thkless job so kudos to him. I hope the games goes to some1 more 'qualified' than me as he mentioned. :)
