A heads up to a classic being Reimagined for newer generations yet maintaining its core mechanics:
Bionic Commando Rearmed. From the NES days comes a game about fighting the baddies (or as in the japanese version, The Nazi). You are Nathan "Rad" Spencer, a new generation operative with a Bionic Arm!! Your mission: A few days earlier, top heroe Super Joe went to enemy lines and uncovered the master plan for a weapon of mass destruction but at the very last moment all communications ceased... it is up to you to go search for him and stop the impending change in the balance of power.
Featuring 2.5D graphics, a cooperative storymode on the same screen, a challenge mode and even a simple arcade multiplayer, this game, available since 2008 also on PSN for PS3 and Xbox Live for X360, will please both NintenHard gamers and newcomers as it is easy to get in yet difficult to master.
It is one of those few games that depend on
NVIDIA PHYSX exclusively so be sure to install
Legacy Drivers if you experience problems.
I already own it on PS3 since launch and bought it about a year and a half ago on STEAM when it got discounted outside a bundle. Playing it on PC was similar to console but it is more enjoyable when using a controller so try it with a Dualshock 4 or 360 controller if you get the chance.
Score: (considering the general way of thinking of gaming generations)
Millennial-onwards: 7/10
80's gamer and older: 9.5/10
80's-00's: 8/10
Great Music Score By The Way!
