AWG43: Knowing that you have to reinstall the game completely (and sometimes to start a new game) just to apply new fixes properly maybe this is a reason, who knows hehe

And unfortunately devs have no guts to tell you that. They just say: "Turn off your mods and you'll be fine". But how do you suppose to run the game when your mods are down? ;)
This is part of why I wait for in-dev/newer games to get patched a bit(like say wait 3+ months, unless it's a "must play" that is) before I start playing them or archiving them. ;)
