finkleroy: It was because it was added to the end of your previous post. In this case, it looks like you posted a separate post, but the forum merged the posts. There's a rule against editing a post that contains a request, but the forum software is making that basically impossible. Fix your forum, GOG!
It's not bug...all posts under 11 minutes auto merge if no other person has posted to a thread. Maybe add a note about that time limit in your rules/info post?

It's already in there. I'm aware that it's deliberate, but it's extremely irritating and does nothing positive, so they really need to fix it.
