If a post was deleted by, say, a mod, then the post count on the forum's main page would go down, but the individual post's numbers (and thus urls) does not change. If it did, and post 10 of 100 was deleted, everything that quoted another post after #10 would move up one post, and would make no sense. (For example, if you quoted post 15, post 10 was deleted, and post 15 became post 14, your post would be still be quoting post 15, but the new post 15-- that which used to be post 16, which is now post 15...or something. i forget.)

Anyway, congratulations and thanks to Finkleroy on having the patience to put up with us all for 10000+ posts, to Damon for aiding him so well, and to everyone who has given to this thread!
