I hope you'll enjoy this great game. When it came out, I wasn't interested at all in it, didn't find anything special about it. But a few years later, after watching some Let's play, I decided to try it out and soon I was hooked to it. Now it's in my top ten games.

wow, this is an exclusive of our giveaway! I hope some more keys might come out in december. This reminds me how I would like to have a GOG copy of Death Gate and some other titles that have gone missing! Hopefully they will come back as the Fallout games did.

Thanks to finkleroy and ggf162. I have no idea why 2 codes for Duke suddenly appeared but having it in my GOG library feels really good. Especially since I never officially owned the 4th episode.

It is pretty amazing that some one had these keys stored away. It is a nice little treat. Thanks to ggf162 for sharing them. :)

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for Death Gate. It was only here for a few days (if at all). I was lucky to instabuy it when I saw it.
There are certainly licence issues with this game, probably GOG had a deal with the owner of the Legend Entertainment heritage for the game, but no-one down the line realized there was also a license for the IP of Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman involved (maybe they didn't know the game was based on literature - great books, btw.). Stuff like that is terribly tricky. That's why I'm hoping we'll get Timequest some day here, but I don't have hopes for Gateway 1+2, Shannara and Companions of Xanth.

As one of those, who also received his Duke 1+2+3D GOG keys as a gifts from adamhm and amrit9037, I'd like to thank them and say thanks to all who share these precious keys here. You're just amazing. These games are great and it's great pleasure also to play them in GOG editions. Thank you, ggf162!

Stuff like that is why I think devs should only negotiate unlimited term licenses on such(with regards to selling-reselling a game with said IP), or very long(disney length) licenses on such....then maybe we could avoid some of this bs.

Since estates are a thing said IPs might be tricky even if some of them passed on. :|
