GameRacer: ALSO some tips for when you play(setup tips):

Install SS2Tool.....it fixes many remaining bugs and gets the game ready for various mods or SP unofficial campaigns if you want to go that route.

If you want to play the unofficial SP addon campaigns(FMs) you need to edit one line in a config file.

Mods(for the same but HD graphics, and also SP addon campaigns) can be found on ttlg dot com, and also other sites listed in the subforums here on GOG.
Oh, thank you, mysterious new member. Such guides are very important in the situation with modern systems. For instance, without the same mod fix for the russian Steam version of Gothic, an attempt to start the game will be a real torture, speaking from my own experience.

Know what you mean....some games play out of the box, but some need a little love. All in all, though, it's much easier now(imo) than in the past(what with autoexec and other files and stuff needed to play many games back then).
Here's a guide to get SS2 running in detail btw....the same site also has files needed like mods and ss2tool

Many thanks to the whole community, and more specifically here to finkleroi for handling the keys with lots of patience and carefulness. I can only imagine how big time I would fuck things up at fink's place! And more specifically to the Doc, to whom I am - and many others are - in debt for many good hours on great games, now including Monolith with DLC included. I have only played it a little but I'm having a blast, great concept and controls, I'm enjoying every pixel of it, I think it's one of those titles I will have to tag as favourites, expecially for a short run rather than something more deep and immersive. Fun rouguelite cute angery pixel robots twinstick shmup. But you can play with mouse and keyboard too.
Highly recommended!! Let me share some love!

Well, if I read rightly the mountain of recent posts, I can still ask for de Blob 2 ! If not I'll just wait for the next batch and hope I can catch it on time... :)
