Lone_Scout: If it isn't the case anyway, I agree that taking a game just for backlogging isn't fair and respectful to other users or donors.
So, a reminder to everyone: One game per month is the limit, not the standard pace. Only take games you are interested in playing.
It might not be seen as fair by some, but it's OP's call/thread & I think some should be allowed to do it as long as OP is ok with it/it's within the rules. If people want to stipulate people only get their games if they play them right away then they should hold their own giveaway(as I do from time to time) with certain rules in place.
Note that I mean if someone won't play it right away but will get to it and play it within the next 6 months or so at most....as some often have other IRL things to do but want a certain game. As for those who take and don't redeem I agree they should be warned/etc if need be, as I said before, but people should be able to play the games at their own pace.
(I'll likely get low rated for this by some, but I don't mind...I felt it needed to be said)

Cavalary: If nominees get a week to claim their game, it should definitely apply to those who request it as well, if not even be a shorter deadline for those. But that's for this particular giveaway, of course.
About taking games you're not starting relatively soon though, I say no foul there if you do intend to play it at some point and think it for whatever reason unlikely that you'll be able or willing to purchase it yourself by then.
Agreed on all points :)

Dogmaus: I agree and also I think one week could be the days limit for redeeming the key before it's returned, and it's plenty of time. I find 4 weeks an excessive time. Not redeeming in a few days makes you think they are trying to trade or sell.
1-2 weeks from the time the key is sent to someone also sounds good as well.

finkleroy: I have added rule #18. It reads:
18. Donors are welcome to check if a key has been redeemed by the user who requested it. If a key has not been redeemed, and it has been at least 72 hours since the key was granted, the donor is welcome to contact me. Upon being notified by the donor, I will notify the giftee that they must redeem the key within one week from that moment. If they fail to do so, the key will be returned to the giveaway.
Perfectly written/set up, OP. :)
