Nice to see all those daggered Postal 2 and Wasteland 2 keys will get used. :)

This is the first time since I've been here that GOG has given away a free game that's banned in Germany (and by the looks of it, probably elsewhere, as well). I'm going to give out keys for Postal 2 in a different way than I have before for freebies. Everyone who cannot redeem the game on their own will be granted a key (assuming there are enough to go around). When the game is no longer available as a freebie on the main page, anyone from anywhere can request a key. I will not be checking user eligibility for Postal 2. As for Postal 1, if you can redeem a copy, please do so on your own. If you cannot due to region restrictions, you may request a key. I will not be checking eligibility. I believe that anyone who has Postal 1 in their account can order a free gift key. If requests for this game start pouring in, it would be helpful if the rest of us could donate some keys for the game. Even if you don't want the game, you can still add it to your account for free, and then hide it in your library so that you can request a gift key from GOG for one of our German friends.

That game isn't on the list. Please familiarize yourself with how this giveaway works by reading the first two posts in this thread. The forum search function and Google are both terrible ways to tell how much recent activity you have on the forum, but unfortunately they're the only tools I have at my disposal. According to them, you seem to be new here, so you don't really qualify for the giveaway yet. Please take some time to familiarize yourself with the forum and make some meaningful posts and/or tell some jokes here and there in threads that aren't specifically for game giveaways, and before you know it you'll be eligible. Please familiarize yourself with the rules of this giveaway, which are located in the first post of this thread. In the meantime, someone in the community gifting thread might be able to help you out. The only way to fast-track the qualification process is to donate some keys. I'm just trying to make sure you're not only on the forum to get free games. Donating isn't mandatory, but it's a good indication that you're not just here for free games.

Indeed, it's a great idea to gift Postal 1 codes (they are free anyway) so that they can be distributed to the less fortunate players, Germans in this case. I will be sending you mine ASAP.

That is all to understandable. You're not mistaken: I've only learned about GOG late last year and was quite hesitant to create an account for yet another gaming shop. Definitely took some getting used to.

I will try and become more involved in the community. :)
