It depends on the promo. Some of the keys are valid indefinitely.

GOG changed their policy. Old giveaways' codes have no time limit and are still valid (we can see them sometimes - Duke Nukem, Age of Wonders, Torchlight). "Deadlight" is one of the last giveaways, these keys had about one-month limit to be redeemed.

I don't know about all of them. I'm just pointing out that for this specific title free codes are already expired, so if we have a valid one, it was probably bought by someone.

I'm pretty confident you're wrong. It clearly depends on the nature of promo. For example few months ago Saints Row 2 was given away for free and the keys are valid indefinitely, it has nothing to do with alleged change of GOG's policy, because clearly none exists as long as promos go.

Saints Row was a freebie in April. That was one of the last freebies from before the policy change, which happened in the May/June timeframe (not certain exactly when). I know that Fantasy General from June (not the earlier one from April) had an expiring code. Maybe also Mount & Blade from May? But definitely everything since June.
