question
i recieved a game under sinisters leadership is it allowed to ask for another, im asking due to seeing someone ask for 2 games in their post earlier and was wondering what the rules are on requesting multiple games

note: i am perfectly fine if its just 1 game gifted per person

btw big ty to all donators and to both you and sinister for hosting the giveaway

Vyraexii:
It's an honor system, ask for what you actually want and will play.

tumpaj: Would be very thankful for:
Crusader Kings Complete
Earthworm Jim 3D
Thanks for all of this:)

Both postals sounds awesome too. Hard choices were made.

PaterAlf: Don't want to sound harsh, but maybe you should become part of the community before you ask for games in the Community Giveaway?

Make some posts in the general forum (outside of giveaways and gifting threads) or in the game related forums, so the the other members get to know you and see that you are a good guy who deserves a game.
Ok, you've got your point, and it's quite resonable for me:) For my excuse I've discovered this forum 2-3 days ago and just getting started:) So I'd like just to say that I'm very impressed how this community works and i find it quite awesome:)

Normally I hand out one game per request at a time but there is also nothing speaking against asking for something else after some time. And it also depends on a bit on the game. I mean I am way more lenient if people ask for sought-after games like Torchlight or LBA :P

No need for excuses. I know it's tempting to join some giveaways right away once you find this place and see how generous the community is.

Welcome to the forum! I hope you'll stay around and become a regular. We are happy about every new friendly member.

moonshineshadow: F/A-18E Super Hornet (2 copies)
I'd like a copy of Super Hornet, if I may -I have the vague impression that it might have been included in a demo disc I checked out when I was younger, but even if it wasn't it still looks rather interesting...
And since I'm here, I'll suggest you could send the 2nd copy over to drealmer7, since he's one of the whopping 2 people interested in this game -myself being the other one...
Anyways, thanks a lot for taking the reins of this great giveaway from Sinistar, thus keeping it alive! :-)

BranjoHello: ...but the one I really really want is definitely Prehistorik 1+2 . Would play it right away.
Be warned that at least Prehistorik 1 is very oldschool. No save system, just a few lives, a ticking timer in the background, you have to memorize the levels and the patterns of your enemies and the controls are not really tight (partly because the game runs a little fast on modern systems).

I got the games from cecil some days ago and so far I was only able to reach level three (which was over very fast, because I just had one life left).

F/A-18E Super Hornet (2 copies)
...
i played this game years ago on full realism settings, managed to start (even from a aircraft carrier) and to land, but i lost every fight against weaker planes. being a jet pilot is hard, good luck

Good to know this - are there any less than "full realism" settings or not? (just so I know just how hard the game is).
The reviews did make pretty clear btw that it is really realistic, and I consider this more a pro than a con, but at any rate, this hasn't stopped me from buying/wishlisting other flight games. Guess I'm also interested in the historical side of flight sims (especially as the game is rather old -I get thus an insight of how the flight planes of the time worked e.t.c)...

yes there are, but i haven't tried them out
Stop tempting me, dammit! Jeez, there aren't even any games from my wishlist in this giveaway! I mean, sure, some quality stuff in there anyway... and I guess no one would mind if I picked one or two, just to keep the community spirit going and whatnot... No, forget it, my backlog is already long enough, thank you very much! That is, unless...

*goes on like this for half an hour, decides to close the browser and end this madness... for now.*

Great! At least in case I decide I don't want that much realism after all, I can always revert to something (slightly) easier then...
There are some very, very good games in there. Thank you donors!

It was one of the first PC games I ever tried very long time ago so I'm familiar with the mechanics but thanks for the tip anyway. :)
