First: Wifi barely exists here, so no way I can do updates since only real way to be online is with my phone, which is a pain. Perhaps it will be better at the next camping site.

Second: Mind the rules everyone!

Last: Yep, I cleared my friendlist a while ago, it got on my nerves and I never wanted to use it in first place, so deal with it ;-)

Just a quick question, I think I understand how to donate a game easily enough, we just PM the code, but how do we request one ?

Do we PM or just post here ?

I also understand each of us can only make 1 request per month and the list of available titles etc are in the first few posts.

Am I correct with all this ? I post here for a humble request for a title ?

Oh just one more thing. Am I allowed to donate codes that are currently offered by GoG here during the summer sale ? ie the three titles with experience points ? or is this not allowed ? I just wanted to check first as I don't want to do the wrong thing.

You want to donate something, send the code to moonshineshadow via pm.

You want to ask for something, do it here in the thread. Be an active community member though and don't ask for more than 1 game per month. You can also nominate others for games.

Yes, you can also donate games GOG gave away for free but the giveaway will most likely be swamped with them pretty soon anyway and since codes from GOG giveaways usually have a time limit they might run out before someone requests them. You are more likely to find someone looking for one of these games in the clearinghouse thread.

On top of what was already answered, do NOT pm moon with requests. Stated clearly in the rules, automatic rejection then, probably of a follow-up request on the thread too.
So yeah, post here if you have a request, and if you're active outside giveaway threads you can get one game per month. First come first served basis there, so if someone else eligible requested that game before you and there are no more copies available, you won't get it but can request something else. Just don't make requests for multiple games, as in not even stuff like "Could I please ask for [game], but if it's not available anymore then maybe [another game]?".

I am pretty new to the forum, have only really posted a couple of times. I have just received a game code in the current sale for a game I already have so I would like to donate it to someone. How do I go about doing this?
I am aware I should not code drop so who should I contact to give my code to so they can add it to the list. It is Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Father - 20th Anniversary Edition

I would like to please rescind my request, the title was on sale just now so I do sincerely apologise. I had no idea it would turn up in the sale.

Sorry, but this is not how it works. This thread is a thread for the active members of the community, which means people who post on a regular base (outside of gifting and giveaway threads) or who contribute something to the community by doing helpful things (writing reviews, solutions for technical problems etc.).

Besides that you can only ask for games which are on the list in the OP.

You can try your luck in this thread.
