Don't know about Donald Duck, but Howard the Duck ran for president in 1976.

Since I don't count myself to this kind of people who are as you said "the exception" I still believe in what I said. Some people who don't want peace are probably in every country.

yes of course. its just the statement "We are a peace loving country" was kind of misleading to me without an addition and just urged me to complete it with our local exceptions. although these small violent groups are a europe wide problem.

Heh... Think in this case "country" refers to official policies, in which case Germany is far too peaceful, seeming still too in shock over the past and avoiding any potential for conflict at the expense of giving in and pressuring others into giving in as well to the demands of others who may resort to stronger-armed moves otherwise. Or, in the other current notable situation, letting things play out as they will, regardless of the human cost.
Anyway, that assessment seems very accurate now. At the time Animaniacs was released though, depends, started airing a few years after the fall of the Berlin wall, after all.

You hit the nail on its head. That is exactly how "our" country behaves. But we are not in shock about the past events anymore we try to convince all other countrys that we are not that country anymore.

Funny thing is that became illegal years and years after it became illegal to shine things at professional baseball players in the field. :P

Of course, getting hit in the head by a 98 mph fast ball because someone is blinding you with a mirror can be a pretty nasty event.
