Its main ingredient is wheat flour and it has the emblematic hole in the middle (it may contain some dried fruits but no creams or icing) something like Eastern cake may be?

Yeah, no specific English term for it, remember looking for the equivalent of chec in Romanian and coming up with approximations like some type of coffee cake or a particular kind of fruit cake, depending on ingredients and how it's made. This latter one may be more what you're looking for, since you mentioned the hole (which makes it different from chec) and dried fruit.
