ZenWan: Stopped by to nominate someone for 2 games I'd gifted a while ago (1 code), only to find they were gone. Nothing wrong with that, they were gifted to be passed on to someone who would enjoy them.

Checked my orders to see who had redeemed them, and was puzzled to see that the giftee did not post here, or send a chat message, at least acknowledging the gift. That seems strange...

Doc0075: I have had this happen a few times and find it best to just send them a chat message saying "Hi, I hope you are enjoying the game you won in the Community Giveaway".
You are guaranteed to get a thank you in reply.
Maybe that is just me but what use is a "thank you" you nearly have to beg for? If somebody does not feel the need to thank me for something I am pretty sure that I don't want the "thank you". But maybe I am special here - I also don't want to be congratulated on my birthday just because somebody has written it in his or hers calender...

mrkgnao: Now is the time to install AF, if you haven't yet, and set your wishlist priorities (and don't forget to enable syncing in AF (off by default), so MaGog could see and display your priorities (assuming you are listed in The Directory of Public Wishlists)).
Aw, so making me install Greasemonkey and then that and log on to GOG from FF. Eh, maybe someday...
But while you're at it, could you kindly ask MaGOG to also sort the wishlisted by list according to that priority? Not entirely sure where those without priority set should fit, if at the end or between medium and low.

*nods* But then again I don't react well to typical birthday greetings/wishes anyway, and on here felt darn awkward when I did get a thanks via chat. As for thanks for nominations on here, never kept track to know. Do recall deciding against nominating someone once as I was scouring forums for potential giftees after seeing they hadn't posted anything here after their previous nomination, but in general, you give or nominate to spread some joy, and some amount of that is probably generated even if not... made public and/or tarnished by entitlement. And some may even just feel too awkward about it to figure out what to post or say.

Tampermonkey is also available for Chrome, Opera Next and Safari, if you are using any of those.

It's not a bad idea. I'll look into it. Cheers.

I'll probably use the following order:
1) All those with "High", sorted alphabetically
2) All those with "Medium", sorted alphabetically
3) All those with "Low", sorted alphabetically
4) All those with "Backup", sorted alphabetically
5) All those with "Watching", sorted alphabetically
6) All those with no priority, sorted alphabetically

P.S. I believe AF works on Chrome too (Adalia actually develops it on Chrome and only tests it also works on FF, IIRC).

Nope. One of those few using IE on purpose :p And Chrome with its auto updates and few out of the box settings won't be getting anywhere near a computer I'm using.

You can always try SRWare Iron, which does seem to be Chrome without Google. And it doesn't have auto updates either ;)

But yes, IE does suffer from a lack of addons :/

I don't see it as begging, I enjoy giving games to other people and making them happy. It is nice to get a thank you for the gifts, which isn't unreasonable.
Sometimes people have a lot going on when they receive their code and forget to respond to the right person.

Perfectly understandable.

Still, I have no idea how I could survive without AF's forum searching. It ranks somewhere between air and water in life's essential necessities.

Uh, what can I say? Guilty as charged.

I redeemed, download, played, and I swear my brain was working on the task of formulating some sort of thank you ...

Then suddenly I had to do some offline stuff, and I never got back to it. Stupid scatterbrain, me.

I'm a big fan of subwater games, and Silence Service is a much appreciated! So, finally, much delayed ... "thank you!"

If GROOT doesn't want it, I'd like Transistor.
May I nominate myself for Her Story? I quite enjoyed Sam Barlow's previous game Silent Hill:Shattered Memories.
