leon30: Does System Shock 2 and Chronicles of Riddick have an expiration date? if so we should try to clear these out first.

moonshineshadow: I doubt we'll fine enough people for all the System Shock 2 codes. I told people they would probably just expire ;-)
Those that are left a day before they expire should probably just be given to whoever, even non-users anyone knows who'd quickly make an account for the occasion, as long as the recipient will redeem right away.

That's just sad, maybe if we do something for new members (but not scammers or alts) or some old accounts with little forum presents, I've seen some like that - a member from 2012 with only 5 rep or so. Is it ok if we lower the bar for these 2 games?
Like I said before. I am way more lenient when people ask for games like Torchlight etc, games where tons of copies are donated and almost everyone has it already.
But I am not going to give games to people who never posted anything, meaning that their first post would be here. That does not fit in my understanding of what community giveaway means. If people don't like that, they can withdraw their codes.

Normally, definitely, but when it comes to either giving such a game to someone who may want it or having it expire, see no harm in freely spreading a little joy somewhere in the world :)

Don't feel bad about the codes leon, I guess whoever wanted the games, already got them - the rest don't know about their existence and even if you send them to some random account, you can't be sure that they will be redeemed in time. A good move would be to give them to friends that may don't have already a GOG account. Other than the free games with every new account, it would be nice if they could receive some more good games! Personally, I've already given two gift codes (that i had purchased on a previous sale) to two close friends of mine that haven't tried GOG by that time, and while they don't have an active presence on the forum, they buy one or two games from time to time. ;)
Can I nominate BranjoHello for Earthworm Jim 3D, please?
Game is as second item on his list, so probably wishlisted for a very long time.

Thanx v3 for the nomination and for taking a peek in my wishlist. :) And Thanx to trentonlf and everyone else who donated the games and to Moonshineshadow for moderating the giveaway.

Unfortunately the code Moonshineshadow sent me for Earthworm Jim 1+2 was invalid. :( But I appreciate the good will. :)

Like I already told you in chat, you must have copied it incorrectly. I just tested it and it works fine.

Sorry, JavaScript problems. Might be the addblocker. Got it. Thanx. :)

It probably blocked that newly-introduced captcha on the redeem page. But Big Bad Puppies don't quit!
Hey, looking through that list Painted_Doll posted again, wasn't Privateer 2: The Darkening already given? Somebody got nominated for it, but there's no copy on the given list.

ddickinson: A big thank you for the gift of Gothic 2. Thank you to RWarehall for donating the game, to the lovely v3 for the nomination, and of course to the vigilant overseer of the giveaway, Moonshine! Thank you all very much.
*wink*

All the credits go to neverending stream of donors and the gracious host who delivers fairly and instantly.

Get well famous dd (and I don't mean you should obtain a reservoir)!

Yep, that's what I was referring to, but no sign that any copy was actually given, so was wondering whether it was a slip.

And what if the code was sent but not redeemed ?
