Adzeth: Suddenly mice.
Noticed a mouse in my room. Was like "wha, huh, where the poisons at" and it turned out they've eaten all the poison already, and I had forgotten a bagel on a table which probably attracted 'em. Anyway, a pursuit began. I was armed with an old juice can thing, was going to trap it, then travel far into the wilds and throw it somewhere relatively far from any houses. It managed to hide behind the washing machine and now it's surrounded by a ring of rat poison. Oh well, it would've probably returned and eaten some poison anyway. I'm not exactly afraid of mice, but my first encounter with one was one of those "woke up, there's a mouse on your pillow right in front of your face" freak outs and now I instinctively think they're trying to climb up my nose or something..
That is a benefit of having a cat. Rodents want nothing to do with a cat, and will stay out of the house. I have had some in my attic, but none so far downstairs. Noticed a mouse in my room. The climbing up your nose and ears thing always freaked me out with roaches after I saw a TV news story where a lady went in to a doctor because she was having problems with her hearing. The doctor pulled out a roach from her ear canal.
