Trusting in people is a worthless endeavor as are poisonous relationships.

My cat was sick on my bed last night, when I got up to clean it and change the cover I found a pile next to the bed *yuk*. Then this morning when I sat down to eat my breakfast I found another pile of sick on my sofa.
On the plus side I've now washed my sofa cover for the 1st time in 5 years and I have a fresh dovet cover on the bed.

So Mel says to me, she says "yo dawg, I heard you like Red Dwarf, so I decided I'd show you firefly." and I'm all "yeah, whatever."
So she starts pokin' me right and get kindy handy and so I show her what I grew my nails out for, ya know, scratchin' right, and like..
So she goes "who would you scratch?" and I say "Those who would scratch me back." and she's all "Well what if I scratched you?" to which I reply "That would be highly inappropriate."
She's all "You're right.." so I say "Well I'm going to take a walk for a beer." and she doesn't say anything else to me all night.
The air was filled with the most pathetic feeling..
later on while watching firefly she goes to sleep, I wait 'til it's over, shout at her and tap her hand with my foot ever so gently and she gives me this most confused look before stomping off to bed.

For the past few days I worked more than 12 hours each day.
I am reaching to the point of insanity.
Lack of exercise, sleep and booze is making me extremely agitated. I wanna go postal here, I'll start by burning my work. Woohoo.

My little brother is so wanting to go to Afghanistan that he is getting out of the Army in two weeks and joining the Marines that weekend...../sigh....
On a side note... Paid the money for the students to continue their education they passed the last few exams, and then the MoE said if I wanted to continue to teach in the country I had to move to another city............./oh happy days....just effing charlie foxtrot....
Sigh............. so three of the other teachers stayed at the other place, because they do not want to piss off the goverment, and I get sent to a shithole because I had faith that the goverment would accept the money for the students and allow us to continue...
sigh... worst part is.. this new base, an old girlfriend is at and I keep running into her... the woman got married awhile back.. and even though I want to hang with her, I know what will happen if I do...

Nah nothing wrong with the Corps... just... he is wanting to go to Afghanistan so bad....he would change service to do so....
sigh... I let him know he will prolly be shitting in a bag again... bottled water showers, small arms attacks day and night... more ied's, vbieds, etc....

One time my first trip in Afghanistan, I was on a shithawk fobbing (going from one base to another fixing shit) after the helo dropped my ass off at one camp the helo took off again. 15 minutes later it was hit by an rpg the crew died........ really long effing days there...
Iraq, Sure, dangerous but.... at least... at the very least we have some amenities that make it feel more like home

Can I only bitch about my day?
I've been stuck inside home all day. There have been reports of violence these past days at some cities near here, and today my mom called me to stay home because there's a rumour of a ... (i dunno what's the english word for it) "retreat call" (where people are advised to stay inside home after a certain hour). These things are usually spread by the bandits themselves, and they are really good at creating some terror among the citizens.
A few years ago they did the same thing, spread this rumour to people got a bit terrorized about it (they also killed some cops and burned down buses ).

Shitty day.
My bathroom plumbing went crazy this morning. Took a good 2 hours or so to get everything back to (semi) normal. Sent in a resignation letter ending a 2+ year process towards a job I had been looking at, which had just become unmanageable.
Ran a couple errands, finally got a free moment. Sat down in a local coffee shop with a drink and pulled out some readings for the week (Grad student), and then get a call from my girlfriend, who called it quits.
It's also grey and cold here in Chicago. Just a general FML kind of day, which I needed to get off my chest.

I'm not sure if this is really a bitch but its confusing as hell. 2 days ago my sister died, pretty bad thing as you can imagine. Today I spent a day of hard labour doing a major cleanup of our shed and removing a pile of garbage that built up to ridiculous levels during my serious depression over the years and doing it in sudden torrential rain.
My whole day involved being knee deep in garbage, avoiding or killing wolf spiders, scratching and cutting myself (accidently) and heavy lifting which has left me in so much pain I can barely move all in very low temperatures and whilst soaking wet. For some reason I feel better than I have in years, what the fuck is the deal there?
