Today I have met my biological father (we meet from time to time) and he told me that he probably has liver cancer (like his brother, my uncle, had). It is not definitely sure, but he told me he has some symptoms.
Ironic is, that he tried to live healthy all his life not to get cancer.....

I remember the doctors told my father to give up smoking, drinking and cholesterol filled food like cakes and eggs if he wanted to live a long life. He did and it made him miserable. Then he died suddenly of a stroke. If those doctors had just shut their stupid fat mouths he would at least have enjoyed his last few years.

I have 2 big fucking projects in school due and i'm not sure if I'll be able to do them. Plus my partner dropped out on one of them now its all on me. fuck fuck fuck fuck.

Uni getting me down.
Just finished 1500 word assignment for International Business and Culture, (took me about a week of non-stop work!).
Now have 2 days to do a 2000 word essay for Sociology of Work, and 1 1/2 to do a 1200 word financial data report!
Oh and I also have a financial data exam on the 31st march!

I left San Diego last year for Beaufort S.C. to work at Parris Island (Marine Corps Recruit Depot) to get a break from warfighting. Little did i know that there are a million bugs, the hours blow sweaty balls, if you drink the water you get your wife pregnant, my brand new car has been hit three fucking times in the span of three months, the apartments are way fucking overpriced, and the internet is 1.5 megs. its fun trying to play games online with that. and i am a rappel master that is afraid of heights. you have no freaking idea how much that sucks. my dad went to prison for the rest of his life. my mom has a terminal illness. my sister got a staph infection in her lung that ate a hole in it. i dont care but i hate hearing her bitch. i find myself dreaming of the simpler times downrange. and my mother in law constantly drops by....fuck my life haha

This is kind of old, but during Spring Break, I finally met my girlfriend's biological dad and her stepmom, and her little brother and sister (OMG! SHE IZ SOOO CUTE!!!)
That is just one of the upsides of the situation I'm in now.
So, during that cold, miserable day at the beach, we decided to hit the nearest pizza joint because, lets face it, Marios is the best damn pizza on Galveston Island. So, we sit down, and her stepmom asks her husband to take the kids to the bathroom. WELL...she decides to interrogate me about her 3 favorite topics: Marriage (I'm 16, not 23 bitch.), My future (I want to be a teacher, lady, not a fucking Lowe's employee like your husband.), and religion. I told her, 'Mam, I believe what I choose to believe, and if you don't like it, then I don't want anything to do with you.'
WE spent the rest of the day enjoying it, I watched over little Kaylee most of the time cause I enjoyed it.
After that, a week later I get about 10 messages on Facebook for Christian religion sites. Bitch....LEAVE ME ALONE about faith.
So, now I'm stuck thinking if I even want to be part of this family in the future if me and my gf ever go that far and stay together that long (2 years on the 10th of April, which is usually 52 times the amount of time a couple stays together in school nowadays.). GAH!

Its just a phase that people go through, she'll grow out of it

Me and my girl are together for 2 years (as of yesterday, actually). Her family is strongly religious, I'm not thou. I was in somewhat similar situation, her family just wasn't so aggressive about it: They were, however, giving my girl hell over it and that wasn't pleasant, she had bad mood swings, we argued a lot... However, I knew it's not her fault and it's because I'm not religious. Trust me, her parents will most probably get over it and maybe even become friends and later family to you, but you just have to give the time. I know I did. And I will never be sorry for doing so - it was totally worth it.

I feel for you man, my dad lived a healthy life as well but he had Crohn's disease which evolved into cancer regardless of his lifestyle (well he did work too much, but he didn't smoke or drink or anything, took good care of his body and was in a lot better shape than I am). He died a little over a year ago and I was so angry because I felt it was so unfair, I know people who almost seem to be trying to kill themselves with their lifestyle but are still here while my dad's not. But let's hope your dad is ok, and even if he had cancer it's good to remember that it's far from a death sentence nowadays. I know it isn't much of a comfort in your situation but try not to worry, I wouldn't have made it if I had always thought about the worst possibility (that I eventually had to face, but by that time I was kinda prepared). Never give up hope
